hollywood is just one industry of many. and is a pocket of where many of these sick dbags are employed - a den of snakes.

we focus on it because this a movie/entertainment industry forum.

but do they really affect our lives?

the ones that do - the political, science, blue/white collar job sectors are the places that matter more - equality and justice should be fought for there first.

just that one human lifetime is too short to really see it happening.

and for evolutionary reasons, its in our nature to focus on the negative and all the bad things that happen.

we lose track and don't focus on the good things that happen.
we forget about the many bad things that DON'T happen because human society is progressing towards the light.

It'd probably change faster if people were allowed to express themselves in an open and honest manner w/o being ridiculed or condemned for taking the initiative. There's not enough listening, and far too much impetuosity nowadays.

I came back earlier than expected from my trip cause my host got feelings hurt over me making a move on his ''girl''. How the f you not gonna make a move after 3 months of knowing her and I come in and within a week I ask her out to dinner. He also never said a damn thang, but complained once he found out I was taking her out. Dude probably felt played, like if everything ended up going smoothly would have taken her back to my room ( in his home lol) and smashed.

True Detective Season 1 was an experience like no other. I was glued to the screen the entire time.

Yeah the end of episode 1 hooked me. Episode 4 nearly killed me.

Whenever I go after such enthusiastic descriptions, I see myself disinterested in the first episode or sometimes even the second.

BTW season 2 is hugely underrated
