She is the woman who should've been Lois.

With a few differences, but definitely to reuse and save up on budget.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of that. I think the reason most of the recent animated movies are using a similar style of animation is precisely because their budget was cut a lot. I wonder if they would use the same style for Hush. Why do an animated version of that story if they won't try to animate Lee's art style.

I tell you she should've been Lois for MOS or at least Lana but it is what it is.

Amy was a fine Lois. More than fine, in my opinion. I don't think the actress would change the story or the dialogue that shaped the character. I mean, it's fine if you prefer a different actress in general. We all have our favorites. But I think it's a bit silly to think that a different actress would have made the character different or better by somehow transcending the script, tone, and direction of the film.

I never said it would I just always preferred for her to be Lois even back during the SR days. Please don't start putting words into my mouth.

There are very few supporting characters in CBMs that warrant their casting imo. Definitely some standouts (Heath Ledger, Aaron Eckart, Patrick Stewart, whole BP supporting cast), but most times it's just high profile casting for low profile roles.

I'm still hurt that Marvel righted the ship with Cheadle's casting and have proceeded to do nothing all that special with him.

Both Amy and Rachel weren't given material worthy of them in their CBMs roles
imho, Amy performs very samey in Arrival as in the DCEU...and anything else I've seen her in. I hear great things about Sharp Objects, so no clue on how she changes up for that.
No way did I think the Hot Chick or the Mean Girl, at the time, would go on to be such a beloved love interest.

Amy does something very different in The Master and in the upcoming Vice

Mmmm...so has anyone seen the video that Jason can be seen watching on his vlog?? The one with the Lego movie cast (the characters, not the actors) at Comic Con with Aisha Tyler hosting and then Aquamomoa shows up and Will Arnett's Batman is like "this isn't Aquaman! Aquaman is a blonde dude with a lame orange shirt" or something...man, I need to watch it, the little bits I got from that were hilarious; and I don't know if that was actually Jason doing the voice or a really good impersonator, but the "whooohhh"s and "my man!!" were spot on. :D

pretty sure it was Jason doing the voice

Most CBMs don't allow truly talented actresses and actors with amazing range to show their stuff. I don't even think Nolan's trilogy showed off how talented Bale can be. Adams can do comedy, yes, but not doing it, like she didn't do in Arrival or in MOS, doesn't make a role/film unworthy of her. Really the only thing missing from her Lois that most associate with the character and love is more banter, but of Lois portrayals she got to be one of the smartest (investigations, in on the secret) and involved of them all. If you mean Amy didn't get to be in a well-received film, then that's a different story, but I don't think that is what you mean since Rachel's "unworthy" role was in a well-received Doctor Strange film.

It sounded pretty much like him almost all of the time, at least the parts I could get....maybe my Google game isn't strong enough, but I can't find that video anywhere.

I would not mind at all if they used Henry if they ever did a movie about Super Solider from Amalgam Comics. That was my favorite book from the series. Now if DC and Marvel really wanted to make some money do those comics as an animated movie or something.

Look there's a scene where the space chick asks her to step into Zod's space ship for no reason other than because plot demands it.

Amy Adams deserves better than script like this.

They want her because she has a connection to Kal-El and Earth (collateral/hostage) and she knows information that they could use; it's what they talk about in the cornfield and it's partly how the Kryptonians think to look at the Kent farm for the codex.

Amy Adams deserves better than script like this.

And MOS deserves better critical thinking than analysis like yours.
