Lounge of Justice - Part 90

Why do I get a bad feeling that Patty Jenkins doesnt know anything about that variety article...otherwise there would be quotes right?

I wouldn’t call WW84 pro-rape or racist, but I will certainly say that it doesn’t understand either concept as well as it thinks it does.

I don’t hate the movie, but it is incredibly dumb. Not something I’ll ever rewatch.

There were several scenes like that where I was going "I get what you were going for here, but maybe you should've left this on the drawing board..."

I enjoyed it overall but there was some misguided thinking at times.

This is extremely funny after watching people lose their mind on Reddit yesterday and claim WB might cancel the series now because the movie was divisive.

Yeah it just really felt like a rough draft of a better movie to me. Patty is a much better than that.

I haven't seen WW84, but based on the highly divisive reception, Flashpoint can't come soon enough.
When (if?) that movie finally happens, I hope that if it's not good to at least be as fun and meme worthy as Venom.

“To make all the story lines work, DC Films will introduce movie audiences to a comics concept known as the multiverse: parallel worlds where different versions of the same character exist simultaneously.”

lol, pretty sure Marvel is going to beat DC to the punch in that regard since the third Tom Holland Spider-Man film is increasingly looking like a live action Spider-Verse flick that will come out next year. and Doctor Strange Multiverse Of Madness will also come out before Flashpoint: Into The Bat-verse. So they won’t be the ones introducing audiences to the concept. This articles assertion is laughably false.

they didn’t mix us up with Thailand! :funny:

ya Taiwan’s suddenly an international powerhouse now :funny: check the list below us:eek:

I see the reaction there was mixed also

but what the hell it’s 2020, be glad we have a movie to watch in theater for Christmas. It’s just a movie

daughter asked me a millions questions, why did WW’s dad pick her up?:funny: Why did she bleed? Why did Barbara fight her? Why is WW crying? Why are the police shooting at her? Why is her dad picking her up, why did she bleed :wall:

Why did Saudi tycoon sell his oil away? (No she didn’t ask this :funny:)

Hey Tom Cruise we are 3rd in box office now can we have our flag back for Top Gun?

According to latest article in NY Times, DC Films will make TV series that will be interconnected with DCEU movies.

Also, few DC movies will be made exclusively for HBO Max.

Despite what happens theatrically DC already did it first with Crisis on Infinite Earths on the CW. I know they don’t have the largest audience but many people will have seen bits online including that Flash meets Flash moment.

Meh. I have no doubt we are getting the better end of the stick with Reeves/Pattinson. I'm not missing Affleck's iteration and doubt I ever will.

This is not the story I would pick for an older Batman. Something like Batman and Son storyline or Arkham Knight (Jason Todd coming back as a winter solider type of character) would both be better ideas imo.

Static straight to Max would be dumb. That has potential to break out big in theaters.

while i like what affleck brought to the role in bvs, am excited for the SC, and wished he would've done at least one more justice league movie...i am glad we are getting pattinson/reeves on batman.

i feel The Batman is going to be something special and unique in the genre.
something unexpected.

I didn't hate WW84 didn't I love it either, I thought it was just ok.
The movie further solidifies my desire for the current DCEU continuity be drop altogether and reboot everything like The Batman is doing.
They dropped it a while ago. They said it themselves last year

I agree on rebooting everything. I've had little to no desire to watch any of these recent DC movies. They all feel like filler to me

I am super excited for Matt Reeves Batman.

But I think people have kinda forgotten, just how good a director Ben Affleck is. I think his Batman movie could have been something special.
Agreed. Personally for me (as Superman fan) I am just happy we're getting a proper ending to this unique Superman trilogy. While I wish we were getting more solo Cavill Superman movies I will settle for this and be happy.
