Yes sir, this summer I am

Good luck with that:yay:

The sooner I get out of this country, the better. Taxes have gone up once again and allowances have been cut with 10 more budgets yet to come. If I don't leave by next year, they'll be cutting my legs off and selling them on the black market just to pay back the banks.

Oh it will be awesome. I know where we're moving and I'm really looking forward to it.

Good thing you're moving to Canada. I'm sure their taxes are more reasonable than ours.

It snowed here a couple weeks ago, I ran in it barefoot, my weather is awesome.

You're lucky. The coldest it's been around here so far has been 44 degrees. I guess I can rule out another white xmas. :csad:

I forget where Duke lives. I think it's somewhere in Texas or something.

Yup, Texas. Hi Bad Supe's Girl!!! Loooooooooong time no speak.....:yay:

I know I've been so busy.
Lots of stuff, single parent mode, school, work, blah blah blah... busy.

My sister has lived in California for a few years and she normally comes to visit during the summer. She finally came to visit last Christmas and was hoping for her kids to finally see some snow. Little did she know that we would end up getting a huge blizzard. :hehe:

But yeah, as much as I don't like the cold, it wouldn't feel like the winter without some snow.

Sounds like you've been having loads of "fun". :oldrazz:

Who me?

ha ha ha
Actually, I made a nice big batch of fudge just a couple days ago. That was fun and the kids and I are enjoying it :)

I guess it's one of those cases of the grass is greener on the other side.

Don't get me wrong I love California weather for the most part, but it'd be nice having a Christmas with actual snow.

Meh. Snow is overrated. I can understand people who never see snow being intrigued by it but snow sucks for the most part. Especially when you have to drive to work and the stupid plows and salt trucks haven't been out. Here in Pittsburgh driving in snow REALLY sucks because no matter where you go you are going to go up hill or down hill. And you always get stuck behind someone who sucks at driving in the snow and it causes you to slide and get stuck sometimes.

So, I'd gladly trade houses with you for the winter. You come live in the Burgh and I'll live int he California sun and come back in April. :woot:

no no it's okay...

He moved to CA cause his job began today. Kids and I will move at the end of the school year. So I'll be in single parent mode until June.
I thought you might have been through a divorce; glad that's not the case!

I couldn't have said it better. Lots of hills where I live too.

It's a mixed bag with snow. When it first falls, its beautiful. But then in the next week or two when it turns gray and yellow, it looks ugly. And I really hate when it snows a lot and then snows some more a couple of days later so then you get a mix of dry dirty snow and soft new snow. It takes even longer for it to melt.
I hope we finally get some snow this Christmas!
I've yet to see a real "White Christmas". That only happens in the movies.

OMG I just got a response tweet from Adam Richman on Twitter... /fangasm

My sister lives just outside of Santa Cruz and she loves it. She'll never move back to the East coast again. :)

Yeah, so far it's been very mild here. Just getting rain today and tomorrow but then it's supposed to get super cold the rest of the week but no precipitation in sight for over a week. :woot:

I will be pleased if we get very little to no snow this winter. Need a break after the last two winters we've had.

Nice. Besides, I'll be closer to family out there, since they live in Oregon.

How have you been Squeekness?
Have you gotten your first snow up there yet?
