Lucifer Lucifer General Discussion

Well, I'll agree that Welling is somewhat of a poor actor. Certainly lacks the charisma of the other cast. Frustrating final, in the sense that the reveal we've all been waiting for has happened, and we're unlikely to see what happens next.

I did love him with his wings out though, however I'm slightly perplexed by the gunmen not remotely fazed by an actual Angel?

That's a great point Flash525 about the humans not being phased by seeing an angelic being. It's the same issue I have with Supernatural. I would think that humans would have some sort of psychological breakdown when in the presence of a celestial being.

I'm guessing the bullets were able to hurt Lucifer because Decker was near him. Also, now that Lucifer has embraced his face and purpose does it mean that Decker will have less of an influence on him when she is nearby? Lastly, why was Decker able to affect Lucifer anyway? I know they mentioned in the show that God told Amenadiel to bless Decker's parents with a child (Chloe) but why.

The difference I think is that, within Supernatural, the common person doesn't know when they're in the presence of an Angel, and those that do (such as on Apocalypse World) wouldn't be fazed by what's otherwise the norm to them.

I hope we get to find this out, but I'd suspect that Chloe is a prophet (of sorts) and holds a connection to the divine or something, and that element of her that has a divine touch is what makes Angels fragile when in her presence.

I'm not convinced it's specifically a dynamic between Chloe & Lucifer, but rather, Chloe (and others of her kind?) with Angels (generally). It's either that, or Dear Old Dad has some divine plan in motion and needed Lucifer to experience what he's going through in order to do something... I think the former concept has more depth to it though, as it's less specific, but makes more sense.

Think of Chloe as a base-line Nephilim.

i really enjoyed the finale, especially since there was lots more supernatural stuff to it. this was the best Maze has been written in a while and i'm glad her and Linda made up. I would like to see what happens between her and Trixie

look forward to seeing how this reveal to Chloe plays out. it looked like she was backing away in fear, but also trying to stay in place at the same time.

You do realise it's been cancelled, right? Very few cancelled shows get picked up elsewhere anymore. :(

no! i hadn't heard it got cancelled :/

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. There's a #savelucifer trend running over on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, but as previously stated, networks rarely take notice of what fans [of said shows] want. I'm hopeful Amazon or Hulu will pick it up, but we'll have to wait and see..

first campaign i ever remember of fans saving a show was Roswell waaay back when.

i'd at least like 1 more season

The two unaired episodes of Lucifer will be burned off back to back on May 28.

So at least we get to see them.

Unaired episodes?

If I remember the schedule was changed and the number of shows that could be sown ended up being cut so two episodes that were going to be in this season were held and would have been used in the next season.

Currently watching season 4. I like where it's going.

I LOVE the bittersweet ending of Season 4!

I Think its a Perfect Ending and They can Leave it Here.

That Last two shots was AWESOME!!

Honestly season 4 is defintely the best season of Lucifer and if this is last season of Lucifer then I have no complaints as I was satisfied with the ending from the season 4 finale. But I do hope that there will be a season 5 as I think we will likely see Lilith as she was mentioned a few times throughout season 5 (and we learned that she's the mother of Mazikeen which is great as I want to learn more about Mazikeen's past before she met Lucifer).

Finally finished the season. I would really love some more.

I was hoping for a season 5 with Lilith too. Sabrina uses her though so I'm not sure if they'd go there. It would be interesting to see if Lucifer had a relationship with both Lilith and Eve though. Or what Lilith has been doing in Hell. Presumably since she's Maz's mother she still the mother of demons in this too.

Episodes 25 and 26 of S03 I believe.
Yeah, I've seen them a while ago now. Glad they weren't quite considered prime timeline stuff. They sure were a little weird.

@kane9321 , totally agree. Loved every minute of it.

Great that its renewed but incredible sad that it will be the last season, that which i expect wont have 20 or so episodes.

Its a damn shame, season 4 was incredible strong.

Guess it's best to leave the audience wanting more. Finish the story well.

Guessing lillith and god will make an appearance.

As @Mani-Man has said below, great that it's renewed, but sad that it's ending. Even though I'd always wanted more, the wrap of Season 4 worked perfectly as a wrap to the show. It'll be interesting, I guess, how they move on from that for the final episodes.

It was, but they were bound to lose viewers with the wait for Season 4, not to mention the viewer decline from Seasons 1, 2 and 3. I suspect if Season 4 had been the launch of this show, we'd be proceeding beyond Season 5. The simple truth of the matter (as far as I'm concerned) is that Seasons 1, 2 and 3 focused too much on the cop buddy drama, and not nearly enough on the supernatural element and the show has unfortunately suffered as a result.

Guessing lillith and god will make an appearance.
Lilith I can see, and maybe another Archangel or two, but I'm not sure about God on this one. Then again, before Chuck came along, I didn't think we'd ever see God on Supernatural either, and I was very wrong about that one.
