I really want Miller to win for Best Director. If Stallone won Best Supporting, DiCaprio won for Best Actor, and Miller won for Best Director, I would go to sleep tonight with 100% happiness.

I would never have imagined, when I saw this movie, that it would have won six Oscars. Congratulations.

I'd have loved to see Miller win too, but he already has an Oscar, so I don't feel too bad for him -- particularly since his wife Margaret Sixel won for Editing, making them one of the few married couples to each have won competitive awards (the only such couple I can think of for solely behind-the-camera work).

I frequent from time to time, still. Things have just been busy lately. I'm about to be a panelist discussing fiction writing at a conference in Minneapolis this week and I'm finishing up my last semester to earn my Bachelor's.

I was pleasantly surprised "Fury Road" was locking out "The Revenant" with its wins. It would've been nice to see John Seale earn for Cinematography and George of course.

But that was dope seeing it knocking wins back one by one. Fantastic.

Cool, man. Yeah, it was great seeing it take so many awards. It almost got me thinking it would nab best picture or director, but deep down, I knew that wouldn't happen.

Didn't expect it but than were shown much deserved recognition and respect for that masterpiece which is Mad Max Fury Road! Good to see them get on a winning hot streak last night.

Hope George Miller and crew are hired for a DCEU film.

Either MOS2, JL2 or JL Dark would fit him perfectly IMO.

In all honesty, despite the majority of us all agreeing Miller was deserving of getting Best Director, he probably cared the least about winning. The phrase 'just happy to be there' couldn't be more applicable here.
