Great trailer. Looks just like a live action version of the cartoon. Using the song was an excellent choice.

I don't know who thought Dini was working with Woolverton... as far as I know, Maleficent is Woolverton's doing.

Maybe something happened but Dini's name has been attached for awhile. Didn't come out of nowhere, he was definitely involved. Maybe through rewrites his name got dropped.

The new trailer is excellent, it really looks now like they are going with her as full blown evil, exactly as it should be.

The trailer before this one was terrible, I was ready to write the movie off it was so bad.

Woolverton did both Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King... best work she's ever done. She deserved an Oscar for those, honestly.

But her live-action scripts leaves somewhat to be desired. Alice was kinda bland, but I attribute that to Tim Burton and excessive CGI.

I was just slightly interested in this before, but after that trailer...

If this movie gets at least decent reviews, I'm catching this in theaters.

Has Charlize Theron and Angelina ever played opposite each other? Cuz... Damn, for the on screen sparks and/or chemistry THAT film would have my money opening week.

BTW, the production design on this looks truly like a live action cartoon (classic Disney style, natch) brought to life.

To be fair, the original animated movie didn't really have much in the way of a conventional "narrative" and a theme as much as just a random sequence of events, so adapting that into a focused story wasn't going to work no matter who wrote it.

The Sleeping Beauty, on the other hand, has fewer characters and more of an actual narrative, so adapting it shouldn't be too hard of a task.

Wow. Good stuff. Glad to see them finally start marketing this movie right. The first teaser and that sneak peek thing were a tad underwhelming, this definitely makes up for those. Angelina looks to be having a blast with it...and I love Lana's version of the song with it.
