Thanks. I was really just trying to dub the classic theme over the full trailer than making it snappier but then ended up adding those 60s fast scrolling scene changes in there from the actual series. Maybe if I get the chance I'll edit a shorter and snappier version. This actually reminded me a lot of the Mission Impossible TV series opening credits.

Very interesting Raven. It works, though I would say, try to refine it a little more, perhaps edit it (the trailer footage) down a little more and keep it short and snappy, say a minute and a half at most. Just my two cents. Seeing it though, I feel we will hear the theme in the film. It fits so well, and Vaughn seem a fan of that swinging early 60's cool as seen in FIRST CLASS. The theme just oozes that. I won't be surprised if it's in the film in some capacity.

I don't think Matthew Vaughn is involved with this film.

Cripes... I'll turn in my nerd card at the door. Kingsmen is all over the place today and I got my wires crossed. Thanks. I totally forgot this was Guy's film.

Lalo was the man. I love almost all his work for tv, so iconic, and film too. I adore the music in ENTER THE DRAGON.

Robert Vaughn was the original Man from UNCLE so an understandable confusion.

Agreed. I like the Bullitt theme and Dirty Harry and Magnum Force. The Deadpool not so much as it's not classic Lalo but sounds like dated synth music.

I wish Guy Ritchie just got him to score this movie as it would then have had an authentic 60s feel.

The movie will premiere the weekend following the Fantastic Four's, it should be interesting, if the FF reboot is really good and has legs, then UNCLE's box office could be hurt, but we'll see.

If I were to make a prediction right now for UNCLE, it would probably be somewhere in the 65-75 range domestically. I don't think it's going to be a huge juggernaut, but that might change.

Another great scheduling move on WB's part. And with Cavill no less.
Hopefully for Uncle, closing out the summer will mean lax competition going forward at that point into fall.

Based on the FF track record, I'm sure WB felt they could take that risk. :o

If UNCLE beats the FF at the box office, we're sure going to get some "Superman beats the Fantastic Four at the BO" headlines.

:hehe:

:supes: :ff:

More like "Clark Kent from the 1960s with a gun beats the Fantastic Four."

From Guy Ritchie's Twitter.

Yeah, I like to see costars just ****ing around with each other on set. Shows the chemistry will be onscreen.

I forgot Alicia Vikander was in this. She's my sexy robot gal. :hrt:

I think I read they showed a second trailer at CinemaCon. I hope it gets released online!

Cavill has an epic beard. the length is badass
