so, just curious... today for instance, what amout of time did you spend on mario, and then on gta.... did you play kart at all today?

just curious. i love how gamers pick and put one thing above the other, i would be most likely playin gta mostly today.

GTA made me burn my Mario Kart disc......

It was all GTA4 for 6 hours. I'm housesitting soon I won't be able to play GTA4 for maybe two weeks, since the 360 belongs to my brother. Going to finish Galaxy and Kart while housesitting. That way in two weeks it can be all GTA with maybe some multiplayer MK on the side.

I have both & I still play both. I love both games & I switch between the two because in my opinion Mario Kart with the Wii Wheel is a nice break from playing Grand Theft Auto to much t:

Same here. I would love for those things to work for me, but I tried to get my Wii that way and had trouble getting people to sign up.

Is there any way to do 1 on 1 racing offline with a second player ? Because I cant find it

You have to adjust it in the rules menu . . . .Took me a little while to find too.

I don't play GTA at all, since I'm one of the few who dislike the series.

I agree, some of the later races are downright irritating, just because you get shell after shell after POW after Blooper, it just doesn't end.

Yep, It gets to the point where it's not even fun anymore. I can understand the comic mischief but seriously? its taken waaay too far :P

I've put MK down for a bit. I get way too pissed when I'm 1st on the last stretch of the last lap and get pow'd into 8th place.

i agree, ive been working on all the 150 cc races besides when im online, and it is just way to hard at times. ill have a decent lead then all of the sudden, squid, blue shell, then i get bumped to hell n back... guess they wanted to make the game more challenging and they did.

This game is pretty fun. The graphics suck, the courses are meh, (didn't like how the re-used GC courses). I don't like how Nintendo keeps using things from old games, I mean, it was cool in SSBB, but this is too much!

Mario Kart has traditionally used "retro" tracks from previous games. I'm hoping they make more tracks (old and new) available for download down the line...

I don't mind them re-using courses.

Anyway, I'm gonna sell this to my friend. The controls are awful. The fact that you can't customize them and that half of the buttons aren't used is dumb. I also have zero motivation to unlock anything.

This is one of the most disappointing games I've bought in a long time. They half-assed them game horribly. MKDS and DD are better than this. This should have been the best Mario Kart game to date, instead it's disappointing and all-around mediocre.

umm... the graphics are perfectly fine for a cartoon game. is this your first time playing a mario related wii game? and the previous console tracks were just simply 4 sets of 4... they threw in a whole other set of 4 with 4 as a bonus, being retro tracks just like they have on the hand held versions... it's just bonus stop complaining.

well they definately did make it more challenging... i used to be able to unlock everything very fast in previous games... now its hard as hell to

The graphics in this are worse than in Double Dash.

Another thing is the weapons are overpowered and appear too much. I've had 3-4 blue shells hit me per course. In Double Dash, I only had 3-4 hit me per cup.

I just had a weekend where I get to play Mario Kart with my in-laws, and it was a blast. Unfortunately, I didn't unlock anything back then, but it was so much fun. I love Smash Bros., but Mario Kart is just pure fun and now with bikes it's even more interesting. Btw, I did great with Wario with his Wario bike, and finished top 3 in most of the races we played.

It'd be nice if there was an option to turn off the items. I wish there is as much customization as there is for Smash Bros.
