Marvel Legends, Selects, Universe- Thread - Part 2

Wave 2 of Spidey Infinite Legends was revealed today...

- Ultimate Spider-Woman (swap for spider-girl)
- Spider-Girl (May Day Parker)
- Spider-Man
- Anti-Venom (venom is rumored to be a swap)

- BAF Urich Hobgoblin

this wave is pretty "meh" to me... I guess Spider-Woman's hair may make for a good custom for someone someday.. and anti-venom looks pretty lame compared to the MS version.

I'm most excited for Spider-Girl, Spider-Man, and Hobgoblin i think

It's still missing a figure. The Hobgoblin picture shows he's divided into 6 parts. Only 5 figures are listed (since Mayday and Spiderwoman are swaps) Anyway, I'm looking forward to Daredevil, 2099, and Hobgoblin.

that's what we are hoping (that the swaps have the same parts) people are hoping Anti-venom has a Venom swap as well

Was there ever a thread about DC Universe Classics? Did that come to an end? It doesn't seem to have gone on for as long as Legends.

I've been out of the Legends game for a few years now. There are some I'd still like to have like Iron Monger and Ultron, but I'm content now to just experience it vicariously through others now or online pictures. They're too expensive and I just don't have the space for all of them.

Nope. Never read about Mayday. Don't care about her. I don't really do alternate reality figures, anyway, so I'd have nowhere put her. Don't need or want a Morlun or Spider-Gwen either. I'd rather have a 616 Gwen and MJ before Alt. versions. But that's just me.

Whatever happened to the Amazing Bag-man Spidey? Or the Classic Villains like Tombstone and Puma and guys like that? I'd rather have them than Morlun and/or Spider-Gwen.

Hasbro is trying to do more current figures in most of the waves. they throw us a bone every once in a while though

But yea.. you should really check out Mayday.. she and 2099 are easily the most popular alt versions... and Spider-Gwen has gotten a massive fanbase for being a new character. That being said.. the only saving grace of getting these alt versions, are that they're currently appearing in a major 616 story. And now heavily rooted in the classic universe

I'm thinking of selling some of the older ones and just keeping Legends I want to display like certain teams. But not going all the way with the new lines and trying to complete them...it was rough around here finding them all.

But I'll definitely stick with Selects, it's easier to just chase down the 7 they release.

Hasbro has impressed me with much of what they have showed and released.

Well, I'm on the fence with Gwen. She does have a cool costume and I want to like her. I'm just waiting for her to be great!

I'm with ya with all the Spider-Men. You have a few more than I do but it makes for a cool display when they're all together. I didn't like the Slingers so I can pass on them. But Cosmic, Ham, Bag Man, all the comic accurate versions. All day.

That Select Ant Man is pretty cool. I'll wait for the Legend.

damn, the last 3 legends waves were hard for you to find? I'm sorry. The GOTG, Spider-Man, and Cap waves were super easy to get last year around here.. and are still easy for me to walk in and find any of the characters on pegs.

Hey dude! It was a crazy year. My father got cancer and passed on Fathers Day, so life hasn't been normal for a while. I inherited his property so it's a lot to fix up and expensive to keep. So I only wanted to sell some of the older ones not on display, maybe grab one or two from the new stuff. I see I'm still in your sig! I once caught your YouTube video, great stuff and the displays rocked! I hope to be around more now.
