Thanks for the pics. Hellcat looks really nice.

The thing with the new Spider-Woman glider wings are that they aren't outlined in black like the old one. But the black outlines are more comic accurate. The new ones look just a plain white. They should really be translucent anyway.

Also, why do Spider-Woman and Hellcat not have their names on their boxes whereas the others do? I could potentially understand about Hellcat, but why Spider-Woman?

actually it's completely dependent on the artist.. she's been shown with actual spider-web looking material under her arms before, no black outline. plus, you can always add that yourself

They both have their names on the back of the box. For some reason Hasbro has been really weird with labeling peoples names on boxes. Many say stuff like "Marvel's Cyclops" or "Marvel's Beast" rather than just putting their characters name. Then, with the new boxes, they started doing character swaps. Black Cat and Spider-girl were called "Skyline Sirens", Emma Frost (and what would have been rogue before she was cut was "Manipulators of the Mind", Toxin and Carnage were "Symbiote Spawns", Red Skull and the Hydra Agent were "Soldiers of Hydra", and AIM soldiers and Zemo were "Agents of AIM" etc...

it's really annoying. But at least their names are now on the back of the boxes.

The names on the boxes are strange. I figure the "Marvel's" before the name is just a copyright/trademark type thing. And the titles instead of the names are just so they can reuse the same box. :cwink:

Uh hellcat and spiderwoman are my most wanted iut of the wave. How can you want batroc and not patsy walker buddy!!!

I gotta be honest. I don't think I've ever read anything with Hellcat and judging her based on appearance alone, I'm not interested. Where would you put her?

BAF Thanos is cool but I like my Select. Batroc is a classic Cap/Avengers villains so he's in.

I've wanted an Iron Man with a circle of light instead of the triangle for like, ever. I hate the triangle and the first movie figure is way too skinny. Of the billions of Iron Man figures released, I'm still waiting for the right one.

Spider Woman is a probably because the old TB one is hideous.

Hulk is a maybe, unless he's better than the Face Off version. AoU looks way more poseable, but I wanna see it in hand first.

Cap is a no. I hate that uniform unless he's Commander Rogers. I'm sticking with Face Off.

All great looking figures, though. Thanks for the pic.

Hellcat would definitely go with the Defenders. She could potentially go with the Avengers if you really stretched it, but she was only a member for a very short time. She's a classic Defender though. She and Valkyrie are very close.

We haven't had a Nighthawk figure yet have we?

Also, I think Hasbro should release a new Namor figure. Their green trunks version was terrible and he was tiny, like more for a 5" scale with a very soft sculpt. The ToyBiz one looked a lot better but he's an old sculpt and he's not in his classic Speedos.

Hellcat is both an avenger and a defender so she fits in easily. Shes even more tied to the avengers than machine man

No nighthawk in legends yet. But i agree about Namor. However im hearing rumors universal has his merchandising rights still (but not movie) so it would explain his lack of figures and why he always seems snubbed from video games

How could they do Namor before then if Universal had the merchandising rights?

Eh, I'm not a Namor guy, either. I know the speedos are his classic look, but I'd prefer the leather look. I still have the TB figure and if I was a fan I'd put him out with the Fantastic Four, but nah. I will say he's due for a good new figure in his green panties, though.

That implies someone above said they weren't a Namor guy and you're not one either. But who said they weren't?

It might of been a "oops we didnt know about it" thing at the time kinda thing. And universal might not of known about it either, and the found out.

I mean... theyve now got molly hayes and squirrel girl in Avengers Alliance.... but no Namor

Hes definitely due for a green redo. But yeah i prefer the black leather

Hellcat was also married to Damian Helstrom, so if they ever make him, and they just might, since he wouldn't be hard to do as a variant of Speedo Namor, then you'd have a damn fine looking Defenders self in the works.

Instead of wasting plastic on unknowns like Hellcat , Hasbro needs to give us an articulated Howard the Duck figure!

Only in your opinion.
At least he's not an unknown character like Hellcat.

Just like it's only your opinion that Hellcat is a waste of plastic.

And we've had Howard the Duck already as a pack in with Silver Surfer. He'll never be more than a pack in anyway, since he's so small. It's not like they have to keep making only the "known" characters, because that's what fans all complained about in the beginning that we could only ever get the same old figures and never expand beyond them to fan favourites.

And with your reasoning, that's how people end up with hundreds of Hulk, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America and Wolverine figures, and no-one else.

Dark Raven Howard deserves more than to be an accesory with another figure, he certainly deserves an action figure more than say, a character like Hellcat (calling it now, peg-warmer of this year)

It's honestly a pretty good wave, but my initial reaction is just anger. I'll be able to have a Hellcat when Avengers: Age of Ultron reaches theaters, but not an Ultron. The only movie figures are repaints of Captain America and Iron Man, and a retooled Hulk(new head, fists, and shorts). Why would I want the title character? When the first billion dollar Avengers movie came out, they had a very nice set of impossible to find Walmart exclusive Legends. For the second movie, they won't even dedicate a wave. Maybe more characters will see release in a later wave, but the relevant action figures should be coming out at movie time, not sixth months later. And given Hasbro's track record with movie characters, particularly villains, I'm not optimistic.

Actually looking at the figures it looks like a mostly new sculpt for Hulk. Very similar, but check he abs on he pics manglebop posted.

And if you seriously think a $20 howard the duck would peg warm less than hellcat you need to reevaluate. Because comic fans will be the only people buying either of those.

Im all for a new howard someday... but lets not put down others choices and wants just because you arn't familiar with the character, and therefore biased.

The truth is, both would severely peg warm. And howard would have worked in the mini baf waves more so than a figure all by himself.

The only 2 small figures people will willingly spend $20 on is Yoda and R2D2 because... well, theyre light years ahead of the icon game than either hellcat or howard.

Also... howard doesnt belong in an avengers line. He'd fit better in a GotG line
