Well at least they've had some form of exposure to him. most people would refer to him as "that Duck in the suit" he would most certainly sell better than an unknown like Hellcat. lol, I don't even know who Hellcat is..

Actually, Silver Surfer with Howard the Duck was a major peg warmer back in the day. Most of the females were very rare and were immediately snapped up and impossible to find. Maybe X-23 peg warmed a bit, but most females didn't.

There are plenty of slots per year in Marvel Legends. Why should they keep filling them up with the same old characters instead of having more of the "unknowns"? There are more than enough slots to accommodate both Hellcat and Howard the Duck than to have only one and not the other.

And Hasbro are highly unlikely to ever single card Howard the Duck as a figure on his own. At most he'll be a BAF, but more likely a pack in again.

I wouldnt mind mini pack ins again. But they should really be 2 a wave... 3 figs build one person, 3 figs build another.

Another future gotg wave would be great for giving us both cosmo and howard. Or better yet 2 figs in one package

Hasbro should be doing that for jawas and ewoks in future star wars waves as well

Pack ins were when the price of plastic was much cheaper. We used to get tons of stuff with Legends: pack ins, comics etc, and all at only around $6-7 dollars. Those were the good old days. Now they are ridiculously expensive. I bet even Marvel Universe figures aren't even $6 or $7 at the moment like the price of Legends were.

But none the less thats not the point. The ml franchise has begun to really cater itself to hard core fans and collectors. Wave 1 is proof of that. The past waves of legends in the new infinite format have done a great job of balancing heavy hitter popular characters, fan wanted redos and unreleased figs that never made it out, and fan wants.

Hellcat and machine man both fit that bill

Just be patient... a gotg2 line will surely happen when that film hits... and we may get a cosmo and howard out of it

The price increase has been more about greed than oil. Its not in line with inflation at all.

Mu figs are typically $12.99 now, but some have seen them as high as $15 which is asinine.

Some even claim and fear mls will go up to $25

Thats very pricey

I remember when my Walmart bumped the Legends up to $14. I think it was the wave with Nightcrawler in it, because I remember being so happy to get Nightcrawler, but pissed that I had to pay so much.

Wouldn't Giant Man have to be the BAF in that Ant-Man wave, since he has to be bigger than the rest? Otherwise he'd be just like that Giant Man repaint which was made into Goliath, and he'd be slightly big man. But we've already had a Giant Man BAF.

Thats what i was thinking. But then again thats sorta like saying antman can only get a tiny figure, and never a normal sized one... the characters start off normal before they grow and shrink.

On one hand, I don't want to get my hopes up for waves as awesome as that. On the other, those listings ARE on Amazon, they have to have come from somewhere.

Instead of wasting plastic on unknowns like Hellcat , Hasbro needs to give us an articulated Howard the Duck figure!

So you want to rethink this statement now that Hellcat (played by Rachael Taylor) is going to be in AKA Jessica Jones and could very well end up in the Defenders mini series? She's going to have had much more screentime in the MCU than Howard the Duck!

It's almost as if, in response to your post, Marvel made Hellcat the next heroine to appear in the MCU. Of course, they probably knew she was coming for a while. Maybe the ML Hellcat figure is even in anticipation of that.

I was able to pick up Hawkeye, Iron Fist, Wanda, and Cap Marvel today at my local target in Houston/Cypress, a TX.

I got some ML today at Walmart. 25 bucks a piece. Canadian. They look amazing quality figs....I haven't opened them yet.


Also Target is pulling out of Canada......so that sucks. They were a good place to score figs.

Yeah theyve only hit at targets here in the US but are apparently all over walmarts and toys r us's in canada. Seems super easy to get everyone their.

Canada did have a $25 price now. While most US locations are still $20 (but isnt that close exchange rate wise?)

Amazon though put some of these up yesterday for $21.99
