Everybody has their own taste. Me, I couldn't care less about Movie Ultron, but I'm super-excited for Grim Reaper, Bulldozer, and the other villains. But I can agree, it does stink when you have to buy figures you dont want to get a BAF (Looking at you, Thanos and Odin waves)

I agree, but at the end of the day you can either just buy the BAF part/figure by itself on eBay or sell off the figures you don't want. So raising a stink and throwing a fit and claiming Hasbro lost a customer and all that is going a bit overboard. Just be happy that they're making figures we never thought we'd even get.

I know, and hey, I'm not complaining, I don't think I've gotten more excited over Hasbro's offerings since the canceled Thunderbolts wave was first revealed way back when.

Oh, and here's Chameleon:

I'm officially ****ing done with Hasb-assed's products.
First, they don't give us a movie Thor.
Second they make Ultron a ****ing BAF!
Now, instead of giving us a movie Vision, they give us a comic one!?!? **** YOU Hasbro!
How could they give us a movie Cap, Hulk and Iron Man, but not give us a movie Thor!?
Also, what the hell did they do to Ant-Man's helmet? why the **** is the mouth piece open? did they do that to make it more comic-accurate??? Are they seriously changing movie designs now?

calm your #$&^ down. we are getting a movie thor

Why couldn't Thor get his OWN figure?

Hasbro just lost a customer.

well considering they just insured 100s of customers buying every fig announced.. i'm sure they will totally be aching for their loss...

you are seriously the only guy ive heard complain. the fwoosh full of fig collectors is going insane with excitement over all of this...

yeah at the end of the day you end up paying less for an ebay'd baf than you would buying the whole fig retail

I guess Habsro is changing movie designs to suit comics now.
Hasbro- if you're going to make movie figures, make movie figures!!! and don't change the goddamn designs!

I think the mouth piece drops down in the movie

The movie figs have never been 100% accurate on details anyway

Even if it does, why would didn't Hasbro sculpt his helmet fully closed? Hasbro didn't like the movie helmet and they wanted it to look more like the comics, end of story.
The Cap, Hulk and Iron Man figures look pretty accurate to me.

Thoughts:

I'm super pumped to get that new Kraven. It's a toss up between him, Scarlet Spidey, and Chameleon as my favorites from this wave.

I'm happy to finally complete the Wrecking Crew. I'm also very happy to be getting some more villains after the first two Avengers waves were pretty light (none).

I'm happy to get the movie 4 pack. I would like to see them keep completing each avengers team by movie to see how the team evolves. I am concerned and hope Widow doesn't come with just those trigger hands. Look like they wouldn't hold her batons to well with them.

I see they got some reuse from the Ultimate Beetle buck. The white Vision is nice, although I thought he looked more off white in the comics with that look.

You're nit picking. It probably does drop down in the movies which is fine. It's not that big of an issue. He may have multiple head pack ins or because they're packing in so much of stuff (smaller ant man, yellow jacket, ant) they might have figured to just combine it due to pack in space, which again is fine.

They could have gotten an early promo with the mouth, who knows. Its not a big deal. Still looks like the movie, and if it opens and he uses it alot with mouth visible in the film (when normal sized) then its quite accurate

But it's still an incompleted look. it'd be like making a Spider-Man and only sculpting half of his mask on.

He BETTER have a multiple head.

It's technically not an incomplete look. That's actually fairly close to comic Pym and some of the costumes comic Lang wore. It's not a bad look nor does it take away from the figure.

But it's not movie accurate! I don't care what Pym/Scott wore in the comics, this is a movie figure for christ sakes!
Hasbro took the liberty to try to make it more like the comics.
They should have just left his helmet alone.

Dude he could very well wear his helmet like this in the film. It also could be from an early concept Marvel gave them. If you want to be technical, you should be able to see his eyes through the red lenses on the helmet. There aren't any liberties being taken. Relax. It's a good looking fig.

OMG! you're totally missing the point
Ant-Man's helmet should be closed, entirely!
If anything the head shown on that figure should be an Alternate open helmet head.
This is how the helmet should have looked:

Isn't it odd how the 3.75 inch figure is more accurate to the costume design in the actual film than a highly detailed, collector's quality MARVEL Legends figure?

But what if it is movie accurate and he has it down most of the time while wearing it?

And what if its actually hinged and can go up? Hasbro isnt known to change movie designs to be a little more comic booky than movie... thats never been there thing.

I think you're making a mountain out of a molehill
