Really? I though that ML8 Man thing was a great figure.....odd choice but very well done....sigh...remember when we used to get huge figs like that single packed? Sasquatch, Abomination...others......remember when the BAFs were also huge?

Man Thing was a great sculpt, but I think he should've been in Marvel Select instead. Man Thing in the comics was huge and towered over everyone else. The Legends one was lacking in overall size and girth. He was only about 8 inches at most?

Sasquatch was another one that should've been Select as well as he was too small and skinny. His hair looked wrong too.

Yeah i dont think man-tging could be done much better. The toybiz one was perfection

Man Thing could've been a BAF.

eh.. toybiz at the time was making pretty large bafs... aside from onslaught. which would have made man-thing bigger than hulk.. and not fond of that idea either... his size is fine imo

His back/Hump to ME wasn't high enough. I fell in love with EVERYTHING that Artist Mike Ploog did. Was disappointed that even Werewolf by Night didn't look like Ploog's Werewolf. Granted Don Perlin did a major portion of the seires, Ploog's monsters were what got me into Comics from the Classic Monster movies

Did ML Man Thing even have a hump? I recall he just stood up rather straight and not really hunched over unless you specifically bent him that way. It was a great sculpt but still slightly lacking in some areas.

Sasquatch looked a bit like a giant orangutan. He could've been a BAF.

sassy was definitely off...

but Man-Thing was meant to be posed hunched over... which created his hump. he can be straight up, if you want him to be.. but he's suppose to be posed hunched over

I remember liking man thing quite a bit.

I remember when I first found my man thing....I unwrapped it as soon as I could and I played with my man thing every chance I got. One time I was even playing with my man thing during dinner.......

Sorry. I tried to resist.

Anyway. I remember really liking man thing. But not really having a space for him anywhere. Now I intend to put him with my tbolts if I ever get around to it.

Mines with my monsters.... i have a shelf with Dracula/Satana/Man-Thing/Wendigo/Werewolf by Night/Zombie/and Frankenstein

Was there an ML Wendigo? I'm pretty sure I had him, but all my figures have been packed away for so long I can't even remember what he looked like.

yes, he came in the Hulk Legends line with the BAF Fing Fang Foom... prior to that there was a white "snow bird" version of sassquatch some mistook or used as wendigo

I issued out on that whole wave :(.

I only really wanted Wendigo and Dr Samson and fin fang foom of course ....

WOOHOOO found VAL!!!!! Last one at a 3rd and final Walgreens in the area!!!

I am REALLY loving this figure!!

Edit: I'm surprised at the size of her Tatas actually. I've noticed a couple female figures were kind of toned down in that department

Don't think it did have the Hump. I still wish they'd make a newer Monsters set. Maybe not the new Drac tho, I like the classic looking one

I remember lol in a way I want that Man-Thing, but I might hold off and see how popular the new Howling Commandos of Shield gets and cross my fingers

Target had Legends on sale sale yesterday, which I've never seen before, and picked up Dr Strange, Vision, Val, and Thundra. Lots of hesitation on this wave for me.

Strange: I prefer the old Toy Biz version. I like his magic rings but I miss his cape. I wonder what the old cape would look like on the new fig?

Vision: Same as Strange, I prefer old school. This sculpt is better, but I'm not a fan of the movie paint job. If anything I can add him to my movie Avengers display.

Valkyrie is cool. A little plain but a nice addition.

Thundra is a cool figure too, and her and Val were my big wants, but now that I have her in hand, I realize I have no idea who she is. For some reason, this whole time, I thought she was Titania, who hangs with the Absorbing Man. Whoops. Oh well. Cool looking figure, now I just have to find out who she is and where I can put her. Lol

Easy pass on Iron Man and War Machine, no need to replace either of their old figs, and I have no clue who Blizzard is. I won't have a Hulkbuster but I don't think I need one.

Now I just want 2 more Chameleons, Rhino's right arm and left leg and I'll be set for a while.

Picked up a Kraven and Ghost Rider from Walmart this morning on my way to work.

Find myself really enjoying the Target Exclusive 3-Pack Hulk, Vision, Ultron I was able to grab yesterday.

im going to try to grab it today... it seems like no one is finding it on shelves.. it's all in the store roooms... and last night they dropped the price down to $28 online.. so i plan on buying 2

I'm passing on that 3 pack. I really never liked the All White Vision and crew-cut Hulk

I just bought basically 2 for 1 tonight with the price matching, keeping 1 vision (hed make a great custom iceman btw) and the 2 ultrons, and already sold the 2 hulks and other vision

I have no desire to own that hulk either, but id love to keep army building ultron from that set

I LOVE that BAF Ultron. My second was the Classic Utron from Diamond select

well i was talking 3-pack ultron...

Im genuinely pretty "meh" about movie figures

but classic ultron is in my display now from MS... and now he's getting robo-minions
