If we don't get a Spider-Man reveal on Super Bowl Sunday I'm changing my avatar to the Green Lantern costume. :o

I still say wait to the 9th so it marks 1 yr since deal. Reveal auit, title and villain for film. Thing eith superbowl. We don't even know which films or how many spots disney bought. Plus being just 30 second to 60 second spots. I still see next trailer be out a week or two after bowl.

A 30 second spot can still have some cool money shots in there, assuming that they show us new stuff

Exactly what I feel about this too.
I don't know what the big deal is ... Even more, there is a deal about Holland's hair if it's accurate or not? LOL

Thing is, I don't think anyone in their right minds disputed that the hair was accurate, the discussion entirely resolved around whether it matched whatever their favorite incarnation of his hair was.

Maybe, maybe. All we can do is wait and see.

Anyone hoping for Spider-man is setting themselves up for disappointment.

Hey, I say let people hope. If there is no Spider-Man so what? It's one little bad thing it's not gonna ruin lives or scar anyone mentally/physically.

Why? If he's to be revealed anywhere, SuperBowl makes the most sense BY far.

Frankly I'll be shocked if they do. I think a Spider-man reveal is a bit further down the line. They have a lot to sell this movie on and a lot of characters to get to before Spider-man.

Agreed. Super bowl seem unlikely to reveal him. I think very last trailer will.

Black Panther is the only character I can think of. And Spidey is an instant sell/hype igniter, literally all they have to do is flash him in the spot and people will lose their ****. But i'm personally hoping that we hear some dialogue and get a money shot at the end with Cap, IM and Spidey.

SuperBowl is the BEST place to show him.

Id like to be wrong but given that this is only the second bit of official footage we'll see, and how much they've kept under wraps so far, I think showing Spider-man this early would be too much too soon. Spider-man isn't a key part of the movie so to advertise him as the money shot for the super bowl spot seems wrong headed, especially when you consider that we've really not seen much at all of a movie that is packed to the brim with other characters.
Again, I wouldn't mind being wrong at all. I'm not trying to piss in anyone's cornflakes. I just personally don't expect it to happen.

But he is a key part of the movie...

Exactly, the Russos said if they didn't put the deal together they'd have to blow up the entire movie.

Spidey was in CW from the beginning which is crazy because if they didnt make the Sony deal the film would be very fd up. They mustve known early on they had a good chance of working it out or something.

Confirmation that he has an important role:
Confirmation that he has a character arc:

Confirmation that he was always intended to be in it and that the story would have been drastically different without him:

Thanks for the links, I didn't know this
I still have my doubts about him appearing the Super Bowl spot though ;)
Again, I would love to be wrong. But we'll know next week.
