I have said for ages that I was worried Doom would end up not tied to the FF at all. This is worse than anything I could have imagined. They didn't just make him an Avengers villain. They literally made him Tony Stark.

I strongly doubt he's a Tony variant. They would've have said. Deadpool and Wolverine reminded us you can have the same actor as 2 different characters from 2 different universes.

I dont doubt the performance. They've lost me at concept.

There isn't an announcement they could have made that would have turned me against a project more than this. They found the Anti-Hype equation

Ngl, I was like 99% sure we were getting AvX movie but this...

Even if RDJ wasn't Doom, pushing Doom to the forefront to be the villain and sidelining Kang is just throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Maybe Kang will still be involved but with the title change focusing on Doom now is kinda dumb.

Maybe in 2 years, I'll be singing a tune and think the movie is great. But for now, it seems everything I have been hoping they wouldn't do, they are double downing on.
