When you have right issues and legalities involved, it takes awhile, years even to sort the stuff, so I can see them avoiding it just to save them time and hassle.

Damn Marvel execs. The same guys who wouldn't allow Gambit to be back on the roster, but would put MODOK instead?!! F*** them! :cmad:

Don't diss on MODOK. He's awesome & has the best theme in the game to back it up.

Bought Marvel vs. Capcom 2 on PSN in hype for UMvC3, booyah. :awesome:

Psssh... I bought it for XBLA the week it came out. :D

I hope they reveal Frank/Rocky this weekend, it would be amazing.

We wanted Juggernaut for UMVC3.

And yet another GOOD Marvel villain fu**ed over by MODOK's inclusion.

Don't hate on MODOK.

MODOK isn't some just some obscure nobody. He a classic Avengers villain. This isn't even his first time outside the comics. He's in not one, not two, but three cartoons that are still currently going on.

Sh** design. Sh** background story. Sh** fighting style. I will NEVER take MODOK seriously, but obviously you guys like sh** villains. Let's put Hypno-Hustler, The Purple Man, and Thumbelina on the roster while we're at it. MODOK can stay his ass in the back of a stage where he belongs for the next game after.

Purple Man is actually a decent villain too. MODOK, as already said, is a classic Avengers villain. If you don't like them fine, but keep your allens on alright?

And Gambit is ****, he hasn't been good since the X-Men cartoon from the 90s.

It's funny how someone with a Captain America avatar who clearly thinks himself a huge Cap fan will **** all over MODOK who is probably one of the most amazing adversaries Captain America has ever faced.

Armadillo, Blue Streak, Crossbones, Dr. Faustus, Flag-Smasher, and Jack O'Lantern are better villains!

I dont see why someone being a big fan of a character means they can't dislike that character's villians. The two arent mutually exclusive

How much do you know about MODOK? He's awesome!

He can either be goofy & funny or he can be a very creepy villain. & don't say he can't be creepy, he's a giant floating head that does insane/creepy science experiments that's the stuff of horror films!

& again.... he has the best theme in the game.

I would rather have had Cammy and Ms. Marvel over Modok........or Phoenix Wright......or Rocket Racoon.........:o

no offense to Modok or Phoenix or RR fans.......:oldrazz:

I'd play MODOK vs Capcom.

Hell, I'd play MODOK vs. MODOK.

I've never found any of the Street Fighter characters in these Hyper-Crazy MvC games interesting enough to want in. I know that SF is a huge core of Capcom franchises, that this is a fighting game and you can't get anymore fighter than Street Fighter (TEKKEN), and that this franchise started with X-Men vs. Street Fighter. But their so booooring alongside characters like giant monsters like Hulk, colorful characters like Spider-Man, freakish characters like Nemesis, flashy characters like Zero... I'd say drop Crimson Viper and Akuma for Gene from Godhand and a proper Mega Man.

Gene from Godhand? Really? Didn't that game flop like hard? Why do people care so much about that character? And I don't mean that as an insult, but really?

He could be the greatest / most powerful villain of ALL TIME in the entire Marvel universe and I wouldn't give a sh**.

She-Hulk has the best theme in the game.

EFA.

People love their obscure characters because they feel so special being a fan of somebody fans in general have never heard of before like Rocket Raccoon.

Bionic Commando for the PS3 flopped harder and doo-doo-locks Spencer's in. Well, Gene's movepool would bring a lot to the game and would be perfect for a MvC game. Everything he does is over-the-top, he has almost as many tricks as Dante, and he's a great character if you get into the trivial things like design and personality. He's far more necessary than a character like Shuma-Gorath, and while his game may be defunct, there a few Capcom characters whose series either are stagnant now (Final Fight, Darkstalkers, Mega Man X) that got reps (some more than they deserve...Darkstalkers). Its a combination of what he can bring to the table with his movepool and my own personal wants/opinion.

For a guy who is so adamant for Gambit, a C-lister at best, being in, that you would criticize the idea of another niche character making it in. All I said was a character like Gene would be more natural along side the MvC cast more than the SFers, and you use that as a chance to down me. It really seems like you just want to attack anyone who isn't on the Pro-Gambit side. I'm sorry you don't like Gene, M.O.D.O.K., or whatever.

I never said I had a problem with Gene (I've never played Godhand so I can't comment on anything related to it) and Gambit's the best member of the X-Men in my book. He has a great design (although I'll admit I'm not fond of his black "headcase", a nice background story, attitude, a badass theme song, fights with a stick, and has a cool power. What's not to like?

Ah, see I get it a bit now, but I'd rather not take away, but just put him in. You know? I'd much rather have him in over characters like Gambit and Venom and I don't even know him. I just know I see a great deal of support around the net for his inclusion.

Watch some gameplay of the game. Gene does some bats*** insane stuff....stuff that would fit perfectly in a MvC game.
