When you look at characters like Ghost Rider, and Iron Fist, and Black Panther, those are great characters but it's the backstory that makes them. From a gameplay point of view they're all just punchy dudes. We didn't want you to be able to say, 'this guy is just another one of this guy but a little faster or with a different fireball'. So that was the final pass" that Capcom took off the Marvel list.

Seriously Seth?

oh no, the take you for a ride song will be back lol :p

Just like Black Panther apparently. Someone who uses daggers, staffs and a sword.

They need to stop with these ****ty excuses already.

Those excuses Killian gave are paper thin.

I've never understood the appeal of arcade sticks. Mostly because I suck at playing games in the arcade style set up.

I've rarely ever played arcades, so I'm not really missing out on this revelation of arcade sticks.

i rarely do too but i occasionally stil play at arcades evry now and then since there is one down the street

i cant use a joystick for fighting games, on the controller or on a fightstick, just doesnt work for me I need the precision of the dpad

After like five times being told to go to the MVC3, i've finally found the unlocked thread.

I am soooooOOoooOo hyped for this game.

Ororo Munroe is equal to complete awesomeness!",)

Especially when you consider we got Akuma after Ryu, X-23 after Wolverine, and She-Hulk after Hulk. I mean common. CAPCOM needs a better spin machine.
X-23, Akuma, and She-Hulk have almost zero in common with Ryu, Wolverine, and Hulk.

Oh, really now. To say Akuma and Ryu have almost zero in common...that's a huge stretch.

They even look like variations of each other.

X-23, Akuma, and She-Hulk have almost zero in common with Ryu, Wolverine, and Hulk.
I think that's exaggerating.
They're not completely different, either.

I'll give you Akuma but the two ladies play COMPLETELY different from their male counterparts. People who makes comments like that obviously haven't watched gameplay videos of She Hulk and X-23.

She Hulk is speedier than Hulk, more agile and uses mostly kicks and dives to fight.

X-23 is stealthy, fast, and plays more like an assassin with claws and has plenty of kicks and flips in her arsenal.

Wolverine is also fast, agile and the attacks are based on the claws. I think he feels slightly more agressive than X-23, while she looks more stylish. They play diferently, but feel alike. At least from watching the videos.

I won't truly know until a take the controll and play.

Does Wolverine flip, kick or snap people's necks in his attacks? Does Wolverine leap off the screen and come back like a god damn ninja to finish off his opponent? No. The only thing Wolverine and X-23 have in common other than DnA since storyline wise she's his clone is the god damn metal claws.

But the epitome of meter-burning pyrotechnics is the Level 3 Hyper Combo. "Everyone had a Level 3 initially," Niitsuma says, "but because we wanted to continue the tradition of a purposely unbalanced roster, we intentionally left a few characters out. They don't all have an over-the-top style, and for these characters, we balanced it out by adding in something else."

I don't quite understand...he first says "some characters don't have blah blah to purposely keep things unbalanced", then says "...but they do have something to keep things balanced".

So...balanced or not?

I think it's like the Sentinel thing again. Some people have said it's been mistranslated in some areas.

While Wolverine's attacks don't revolve around kicks as much as X-23, he still kicks. While he doesn't flip, he spins. But no one is saying Wolverine has the same combos and attacks than X-23. He doesn't.

Like I said in my previous post, they play differently, but feel alike. It's not like they have almost zero in common with each other.
