CAPTAIN AMERICA (1990).

No, it's NOT the bad film we know from the same year. This is a real attempt at making a film about the character.

As expected from Stone, it's a war drama and a spy thriller as much as an action.
The film deals a little with the pyschological effects of being a soldier, and also some of the politics behind war.
But don't worry. We'll still see the suit, there's still some adventure.

THE MANY LOVES OF PETER PARKER (1966)

Story: College Sophomore Peter Parker has real problems. For one thing, he's torn between four different women! One is his lab partner Gwen Stacy, who's dating his Rich and handsome best friend Harry Osborn. The other is his old high school crush Liz Allen who's on the rebound from her jealous ex boyfriend and Peter's high school nemesis. The third is his bosses secretary , Betty, whom he's spent the past year trying to get over. The fourth is the mysterious Mary Jane, whom his Aunt May and her Aunt Anna is trying to set him up with.

On top of all that, Peter Parker is really the masked hero known as The Spiderman, who's wanted not only by the dogged George Stacy, but by three of his deadliest foes, Doctor Octopus, Kraven the Hunter , and The Vulture. At the same time, he's failing all of his classes for his mentor and teacher Curt Connors . He's also trying to juggle a low paying job as a photographer for the newspaper the Daily Bugle. It's hurts all the more that editor J Jonah Jameson has waged a public campaign against Spiderman and has turned the tristate area against the webhead.

Now, All of Peter's troubles will come to a head on the night Harry's birthday Party, which Peter is supposed to attend with Gwen, Flash, and Liz all expected to show up. At the same time , Anna and May hatch a plan to force Peter to take MJ to the movies that night. Unfortunately, not only does Peter have to study for finals, but he has to work late at the Bugle , side by side with Betty, who's recently announced her engagement.

Unbeknownst to him ,however, this night will be the wildest of his life, as Doc Ock has a plan to steal a powerful weapon, The Vulture plans to kidnap Harry the son of Businessman Norman Osborn for revenge, and Kraven the Hunter has set a trap for the webslinger in the heart of downtown Manhattan.

For Peter Parker, his love life, school life, work life, superhero life, and social life will all collide on an evening he'll never forget!

Actually, very cool.
They could use use the more scrawny look of Hall (Breakfast Club) for Steve's appearance pre-serum. But cgi hadn't developped that far back in 1990, so it would look extremely fake, or even impossible to make in the first place
