2K Marvel's Midnight Suns

A turn-based card game? Maybe the repetitive enemies and environments of Square's Avengers aren't so bad after all.

Not a huge fan of the randomness of the cards. Will see how that plays out. The abbey is so Garreg Mach monestary that it hurts. 3 person squads, with only 2 choices for teammates is annoying.

Did catch a Wanda mention. Thinking she unlocks later in the game.

I don't mind those kinds of games so I'm still interested.

Same. Firaxis has yet to disappoint me aside from XCOM 2 being too unfair on harder difficulties. :hehe:

Still wish we got a proper "Marvel XCOM", though. But I understand they want to do something different before going back to the franchise.

Oh cool fully customisable character! So it’s spooky mass effect, that’s really cool

That’s ok. If they’re making it as good as guardians of the galaxy I’m more than happy to wait

At the end of the day, CGI trailers are worthless.
They are but that’s all this game has going for it

The card based combat system is straight up garbage. They type of gameplay found on mobile games. Developers could have made this game a spiritual successor to X-Men: Legends or Ultimate Alliance, but instead we get this crap

Then one may argue that the strategy RPG elements are pure mobile, then. Honestly, my big issue is it is running into some of the same issues that Mario + Rabbits did, in that you have one character that MUST be on the team, but then only two open slots.

yeah this is an instant skip for me.

At least I'm going to save money.

It's really disappointing having card based turns involved. I was expecting something less Hearthstone and more team based combat.

While I'm disappointed this is a deck builder game instead of XCOM with superheroes, I'm still looking forward to it. So far Firaxis has not disappointed with their games and the previews released last night look good to me.

Magik's mechanics look really fun.

Marvel Games are just all over the place. Okay there's variety but geez some of the recent ones are an instant pass like this one and Iron Man.

I wish I could break my no preorders rule for this one. Looks so good but I’ve been fooled before
