WB would probably have to empty all the money out of at least 20 banks to get Ridley Scott to do a Batman film

Same. I keep hoping to read that he's confirmed. This "in talks" stuff is driving me crazy.Reeves for Batman is so great that I almost don't wanna believe it could actually be a possibility.
I prefer Reeves directing over him. Reeves is great with genre and seems like a guy who will see what's best about the material first yet can make it cinematic in his own personal way. Kind of like a Sam Raimi.

Goddammit. On to the next one...
Or maybe this ends up like Keaton/Vulture and talks start up again. Either way, more waiting is just killing me.
Honestly, I think Sam Raimi would be a great choice for a Batman movie.

You guys made me think of Darkman, the first one has this indulging cheese in Peyton's attitude that the sequels did not attempt to touch.*Scratching and tilting my head, squinting my eyes*
That would be like a modern rendition of what we got in the 90s.

Warner Bros is turning into the universe's most prolonged car wreck.
We live in a blissful bubble.I guess you don't follow American politics.
