Benedict Cumberbatch definitely the right choice to play Stephen Strange/Doctor Strange but since he is I wonder if he will have an after-credits cameo in Avengers: Age of Ultron to build up towards his own solo film?

I hope and I pray Spiderman is involved. That's all I'm recalling asking for.

Blade film series should be rebooted that's for sure

I know I'm jumping the gun here .. I have a run of spidey comics where Capt & Spidey are trying to stop an assassination on the president, but then they discover the president was really the red skull all along, I cant remember correctly but I think the skull wanted to fake his death for
some reason? .. anyways a story like that would blow
minds imo lol . just a cool thought

Anyone else have anything they want to see one day if this deal actually does happen?

ps- Spidey, Dr. strange, punisher, ghost rider(Dan as GR w/ small cameo frm Blaze) & daredevil team up .. with after credit cameo by moon knight or blade leading to a much darker phase 5 perhaps? ha

Fudge it I'd also like to see The Demonic virus story line! that was killer growing up .. Demogoblin .. Hobgoblin .. moon knight .. ghost rider .. dr strange(Finds cure/Moon Knight infected) .. .. spiderman .. cloak & dagger .. blade.. venom .. carnage .. deathlok .. iron fist .. they were all out to get them demonic goblins from spreading it any further.

With Strange in Phase 3, I'm sure Phase 4 will introduce both Ghost Rider and Blade. If Strange is a success, you can be sure there will be a team movie with magical characters like Hellstrom and Satanna. Maybe even Man-Thing.

I agree both film series that being the Blade film series and the Ghost Rider film series definitely need to be rebooted but who could play Blade other than Snipes? Or who could play Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider other than Nicolas Cage?

All these phase three movies are great but I would have liked Marvel Studios to make movies on -

* Namor,
* Sentry,
* Nova and
* Moon Knight.

And, they should have made -

* Solo Hulk movie.

And they should have Rebooted -

* Ghost Rider
* Punisher
* Blade
* Elektra
* Daredevil (instead of Netflix series.)

Why think about obscure characters like Inhumans when you have so many reboots lined up ?

I'd like to see Dan Ketch as ghost rider this time around... Blaze could be a demon hunter like the early 90s run after the death of roxxane... It would give the film a feeling that time has past & that the "Ghost Rider" has been around for years & has a history already.. kind of how Marvel did TIH .. bruce was already in hiding.. no origin story :)

The rights issue with Namor is sketch due to previous contracts.

Your the first person I've ever heard who wants a Sentry movie. Sentry is a very recent creation in comparison to Marvel older characters like Inhumans and Doctor Strange who were created back in the sixties.

The Punisher isn't a family friendly character and Marvel stated from the get go they aren't making the type of R rated violent movies a character like The Punisher requires.

The Punisher, Hulk, Ghost Rider and Elektra already had movies which most audiences didn't care for. Rushing out reboots of many of these characters seems unnecessarily risky.

Ghost Rider and Blade would possibly be safer bets being reintroduced in a Midight Sons movie alongside Doctor Strange.

Moon Knight they are probably holding for a potential Netflix show. The Netflix shows are supposed to be more gritty and street hero driven.

James Gunn doesn't want any other human characters besides Star Lord in his space galaxy at the moment and seeing as his film was very successful Marvel aren't going to drive him off by forcing the character Nova into his playpen.

I thought the last ghost rider was decent for how much it cost to make..it's just that crane scene got way out of hand & a bit silly imo

I hope moon knight gets his own movie .. pretty cool origin

I think a good fix for that would be to make him more of an antagonist. To Daredevil or Captain America. Spider-Man if that becomes a thing.

See now this this right here I agree with a whole lot

If Marvel gets the rights to SM and F4 back, phase 4 should go like this

1. Marvel's Spider-Man (2019)
2. Doctor Strange 2 (2019)
3. Namor (2020)
4. Marvel's The Fantastic Four (2020)
5. Black Panther 2 (2020)
6. Marvel's Silver Surfer (2021)
7. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 (2021)
8. The Defenders (2022)

This is perfect I wonder then how else would your Phase 4 go? Blade would probably have to be set for 2022 and Ghost Rider would have to also come out in the same year in 2022

They'll probably want to do a GUARDIANS 3. Your slate could use another film in 2021.

GOTG3? I may be the only one who wants to see this, but I want to see Thanos literally obliterate the GOTG with the Infinity Gauntlet as an example of his power before he heads to earth. Star Lord barely survives and he sends a warning to earth to tell them about Thanos.

What would be the great event of that phase though? The Defenders? I'm not sure about that, they're already doing that for the Netflix shows.

While i want Marvel to get the FF back, i hope it's not so soon, there are some things i would like to see before that, and once they have them, they can make an entire Phase leading into Galactus.

This is my take on Phase IV without counting Spider-man, as that deal is still not 100% complete. But it could theoretically be put in 2019

2019: Guardians of the Galaxy 3
2020: Black Panther 2/ The Runaways/ Planet Hulk
2021: Inhumans 2/ Captain Marvel 2/ Black Widow & Hawkeye
2022: Iron Man: Demon in a Bottle/ Black Panther 3/ Nova
2023: Avengers: World War Hulk

What would be the great event of that phase though?
This is a big question. How does one follow Thanos? Not necessarily top it, but a big enough threat that after Thanos it doesn't look like a major step back. Do you just set another one of the big hitters like Kang or Doom or Galactus (assuming of course the Grounded Four: Chronicle 2 farce movie leads to the First Family coming back to the mothership) at the end of the Phase or are you building up to it again with three phases like they did with Thanos and have somewhat smaller events like the building of the MoE or an adaptation of the Avengers/Defenders war as highlights of phase 4 and 5?

I guess you could plan Phases V and VI ahead of time too, though each phase would have its oun event, Galactus is something that can easily hold a phase without having to make all the films adapt into the storyline, if you want the next big problem dangerous enough to compete with what Thanos did, then Kang would be the way, being a temporal threat.

You don't necessarily need to top Thanos relatively to the scale, only writing and quality. You could get an entire Phase for World War Hulk, or for Masters of Evil, or for Kree War, or for Secret Invasion, or Kang. Once they get the FF back, the doors are also opened for Galactus's arrival, or even Doom trying to do what Thanos did.

How would you guys categorize each phase?

The Phase 1 attache case is referred to as "Avengers Assemble" and of course that checks out thematically among the six films. Also by villain, Phase 1 would be the Loki Phase.

The six Phase 2 films lead to Ultron though I'm not sure what I would call that phase or what kind of collector's case it will come in. Any ideas?

Phase 3 will finally be Thanos but it's probably too early to subtitle that phase. Though I'm sure Infinity Gauntlet is pretty apt.

So yes, that leaves Kang as the next logical Big Bad. But hopefully Doom and Galactus will have something to say about that.

THIS IS A MUST FOR A FUTURE PHASE SHOULD THE F4 GET TO COME HOME AND DOOM BECOMES THE FOCAL POINT:
