I think he was talking about the Kamala Kahn version. Carol Danvers is now Captain Marvel. Kamala could have a cameo in Captain Marvel 2, and then a movie after that. I'd rather have Marvel cement Carol as a prominent Avenger first.Having two Marvels could be a bit confusing.

It was never really rumored. John Ridley is doing a TV show and some site said it was Ms. Marvel, but there was nothing to back it up. Her powers might be too expensive to do on a TV budget anyway.

You'd be surprised at what you can pull off with the right camera angles and practical effects to accommodate stretching powers. And I believe those John Ridley rumors much like I believe taht the second Marvel comedy outside of Damage Control is She-Hulk since the only other option is Skrull Kill Crew.

I don't, because it is basically the number 1 rumor about what he's doing, and in response he said

I can tell you that 99.99999 percent of everything that was put on social media was so phenomenally off-the-mark. Not to be arcane, but the rumors are truly off-the-mark.

Captain Mar Vel the kree alien or Captain Marvel Carol Danvers? Because both will probably appear in thr MCU before IW2.

I don't. The only real reasoning for it was rather sketchy. The person who originated the rumor said it was going to be a Ms. Marvel show because Ridley's American Crime had a positive Muslim character in Season 1. That'd be a bit like saying that Dan Harmon is making an NFL Superpro series because he once made a TV show about a white guy.

Anyway, immediate thought for Phase 4: A Thunderbolts movie led by Bucky.

I'm guessing the Ridley show is Cloak & Dagger. Multiple sources are saying Cloak & Dagger is still in development and that it's probably not going to be on Freeform (formerly ABC Family). That makes sense for ABC. Both of their current shows have already set Darkforce up.

Maybe I'm just on a Daredevil high after season 2, but a Spider-Man/Daredevil Phase 4 film would be cool to see.

I think in the phase four Avengers film I'd like the line up to be-

-Cap (Buckey)
-War Machine (Rhodes)
-Female Thor
-Vision
-Scarlet Witch
-Black Panther
-Ant-Man & Wasp

Lose Falcon, he's a bit crap.
By using Buckey and a female Thor, it allows Marvel to continue with these characters without having to immediately recast Steve Rogers or Hemsworth, which would be jarring, and instead let some time pass before they recast Stark/Rogers/Thor, that is, assuming those guys leave after Infinity War.

I also expect/hope to see the following individual films-

-Spidey 2
-BP2
-Hulk 2
-DS2
-GoTG3
-Fantastic Four!
-Silver Surfer (assuming they can get him in Infinity War).

Where there's smoke there's usually fire. Maybe what's happening is Ms. Marvel is put in an Avengers Academy team. And I'd love to see Avengers Academy with some some members of Young Avengers, namely Wiccan, Patriot and Kate Bishop joining Hazmat, Mettle and company.

If Marvel ever wanted to do a teen drama, then it should be Avengers Academy and I say that since I'd much rather wait for Runaways and do Power Pack first so Julie Power can age up on TV enough for Runways to make sense. I want the Power Pack to the Disney Channel stars that audiences grow up with and find that they grow up with them as well.

I still hold that Marvel have enough film franchises that the only new ones they should put on the big screen are Ghost Rider, Eternals and possibly Fantastic Four if they get the rights back.

She-Hulk is a better fit for a sitcom on ABC.

Moon Knight, Blade and especially Punisher and Elektra should be on Netflix.

That's not Natalie Portman's fault though.

Maybe, but I haven't seen any smoke. I've only heard people I don't know claim they saw smoke somewhere, and then the person overseeing the place denying there has ever been any.

The John Ridley show is 100 times likelier to be Cloak and Dagger rather than Ms. Marvel.

If they have to do Female Thor... we already have one! Her name is Sif. Haven't read the comics recently, but Jane Foster becoming Thor doesn't quite make sense to me.

Wait a minute. Thor isn't even a mantle or code-name like Iron Man or Hawkeye. It's the dude's name. It's like...

"Hey. Pepper Potts is Tony Stark now."
"Oh, OK. So she gets a powered up suit like when she had the Rescue armor?"
"No. I didn't say she's Iron Man... she's Tony Stark now."
"I give up."

This whole "some cosmic character whips out up his universe-altering-thingamajig and rewrites everything and we now have REFRESHING BOLD FRESH ALL-NEW takes on the characters" crap is why I stopped reading in the first place.
