What is the point in making another Thor, like Iron Man and Cap, Thor’s story has been told and over. I’ve would rather see new and different heroes coming to the MCU, not the same old stale heroes.
Seem like Feige is starting to run out of ideas.

Why's that? Iron Man's dead and Cap is 300 years old & retired. Don't see why you're comparing Thor to them. Thor's story can easily continue.

Ignoring the fact that Thor opened up a whole new chapter in his life in Ragnarok/Infinity War/Endgame, and his story was in no way implied to be over, your take here is really "Fiege is out of ideas"? When we have The Eternals and Shang-Chi coming out in the next two years and a whole slew of franchises that are just getting started?

Did you not read any of the news the past day or so? Waititi is returning to direct Thor 4 so it's happening. Feige said that Coogler only recently began to outline BP2 so a script isn't even close to being ready yet.

I bet Thor 4 won’t come out before BP2. Coogler is working on the outline/script now. Waititi is the one who hasn’t even started outlining yet, literally just announced a few days ago. BP2 was announced with Coogler returning last year in October. And they are not going to push back BP2 for a fourth Thor movie.

I still won't be surprised about a F4 reference of some sort at the very least coming ahead. Guess we will see. At 90 minutes, the Marvel panel Saturday should be good and informative, and hopefully they will give us more word on stuff like details on those new Marvel shows or even what they are going to do with New Mutants.

I actually should check out if they have any reveals for the Marvel Legends line...

This would be amazing, but I'm very skeptical.

I think they intend to make an FF film in the coming years (maybe a 2023 release), but I think they will avoid mentioning it. I think they want people focused on, excited about, talking about the more immediate upcoming films, and I think an FF announcement would take some of the attention away from those films.

And whether we get an announcement or not, I don't think it changes things. An FF film will be coming, and it's just a matter of when they make it official.

With that said, I really, REALLY hope they do. I want to be able to mark it down on my phone calendar (which, I just checked, goes to 2025 and beyond ) and start counting down the days.

I don't think Thor 4 will be that far away. Waititi isn't doing Akira anymore so that gives him plenty of time to start shooting the film next year for a 2021 release. Gunn is busy with Suicide Squad so if anything, I see Thor 4 taking the release spot of GotG Vol. 3.

Thing is if we are just hearing about Thor 4, that means they were talking about it behind the scenes for awhile.

Also, I don’t think this was a accidental leak. I think it was on purpose to get people excited and buzzing a bit before they drop more news this Saturday. I can’t guarantee what exactly we will get this Saturday, but I would be very surprised if we didn’t get some very interesting and exciting news.

I’m just saying a Thor 4 is useless and I want to see different heroes. I don’t care about someone taking a victory lap, I’m just saying what I want to see. If other don’t like, so be it.

Oh no! Feige is losing his mojo! He’s clearly becoming a hack! What’s he thinking doing a rare fourth installment about a character who’s third film recently creatively rejuvenated him after his previous middling installments and is one of the few remaining original Avengers that’s not either dead, or gravely injured, or getting his own streaming service spinoff series! Feige has clearly gone bankrupt with ideas indeed!
