I mean, very technically on this thread it is standard practice to assume the version of a character from the picture posted in the relevant match, where there is variation. So, if the match post uses a pic of Thor Classic, you use him, and not God Thor or Stormbreaker Thor. Etc.

Its just, based on current knowledge and all reasonable assumption, the only difference between "Cap Falcon" and "Standard Post-WS Falcon" is "Also has the Mighty Shield".

He can just shoot him with his guns. Otto has no feats to suggest he can either block or survive bullets.

Dock Ock also used innocent bystanders as shields, hostages and most of all possesed...plot armour.

I doubt there is a seasoned Spider Man fan who saw SM2 and at the moment Spidey punches Ock, and it has little to no effect and didn't think " Wait a moment!!!!" or more likely WTF ?

Given Spidey's punches caved in Green Goblin's mask and battered him into submission ( super strong and tough) Ock's head would have been paste, even a light tap would have knocked him out. But the script requires the story to happen so.....

What you said about Doc Ock vs Spider-Man is true. The difference? Spider-Man does not utilize weaponry beyond his web shooters. Falcon has literally no reason to get anywhere near those arms.

Why would the shield make any difference? It wouldn't make Sam any stronger, or faster, and those are his problems in melee against Doc Ock. Which is why he *shouldn't enter melee* in the first place. . . which thankfully for Sam, he doesn't need to.

Or to put it differently, Sam with the shield is still "A dude with normal human range physical stats, fighting someone with tentacle arms that vastly outmatch him in strength and speed". Steve Rogers could take Doc Ock in melee, not because he has a shield, but because he has enhanced strength, speed, and durability, sufficient to put him in the same weight class as his opponent.

Ghost Rider's powers are more supernatural than anything else. I'm not saying he can beat Thor but it's nowhere the massacre you are making it out to be.

They are supernatural. So? Having a particular flavor keyword is not a substitute for "actual capability". Possessing the 'Magic' tag does not grant a +10 bonus versus any opponent who lacks the 'Magic' tag. It just means you have a particular flavor to your powers. A brick that can pick up a car and throw it, and gained his powers from magic, is still radically inferior to a brick that can pick up a building and throw it.

Ok, so I watched a YouTube compilation of all of GR's appearances in AoS and I feel confident in saying that Thor one-shots this dude.

Quill. He was able to hang with Iron Man in their brief aerial skirmish in IW so he should be able to handle Sam fairly easily.

I agree that Starlord wins. He may not be as agile in the air as Falcon, but he has gadgets and his blasters, as well as his own ingenuity to help him out. Falcon is no slouch, so it's pretty close, and we've seen his wings act as a shield before, in Civil War. I say Starlord 6 out of 10 times.

Hmm. This is a fairly competitive match. I'm inclined to give the nod to Falcon, though. They are both smart, agile aerial fighters with ranged weapons, but Falcon has two things going for him here-

1. Dodging. Sam is *really really good* at evading fire. Like, best in the MCU level good.

2. Redwing. Sam effectively isn't one enemy to track and defend against, but two.

I'd probably give it to Falcon about 7/10 or so. Things that will tend to give a win to Peter will be stuff like "Early lucky hit taking out Redwing", or "Any clever plan with alien gadgets that forces Sam to use his wings as a shield, thus suffering damage to them".
