MCU vs thread....controversy and chaos

Maybe Batroc is strong enough to really hurt DD, but based on the Netflix series I came away with the impression that Daredevil's real superpower is sheer stubbornness. It does not matter how much he gets beaten. He. Always. Gets. Up. Again.

So I really don't see the guy who crumbled after 30 seconds against a real opponent being able to actually put DD down for good. DD wins.

Batroc. Daredevil is a good fighter, but from what we saw in TWS, Batroc is a better one.

MCU Batroc's a non-powered human with no feats except losing a very brief fight against Cap. Respect where it's due, Batroc got the drop on Cap and then lasted about 30 seconds, but it's heavily implied Cap wasn't taking it seriously (he put his shield away to show off and probably pulled his punches).

On the other hand, MCU Daredevil has feats actually winning fights against

• opponents who were extremely tough/skilled, armed and going for the kill (Nobu, Kingpin, Punisher, Bullseye)
  
• entire criminal gangs (even whilst injured)
• small armies of hand ninjas.

Hell, he even has his own feat holding his own against an extremely skilled superhuman opponent going for the kill (resurrected Elektra, who was strong enough to KO Luke Cage).

Batroc. Daredevil is a good fighter, but from what we saw in TWS, Batroc is a better one.

Batroc loses to Cap who is arguably the best fighter in the MCU and a little bit superhumanly strong, tough and fast. Batroc lasting as long as he did was an impressive feat.

I feel like DD would be able to hold his own against Cap initially but eventually gets whooped, just like Batroc.

With no other Batroc feats for comparison I'm having a tough time seeing him winning - but I dont think the difference between him and DD is as great as some think ( Batroc formerly being one of the top special forces soldiers in the world).

Batroc did catch Cap off guard and with DD's senses that's very unlikely to happen.

I still go DD 6/10, Batroc 4/10.

In the comics it'd be a close fight but in the MCU it's a mismatch.

They're both extremely skilled (I'd give a slight edge to DD) but super senses aside Matt is only human whereas Bucky is a super soldier.

The ruthless assassin with superhuman strength/speed/durability to rival Captain America and Black Panther is obviously going to win.

Yeah, Winter Soldier is more skilled, massively more durable and massively stronger. DD will just get knocked down again every time he gets up.

Winter Soldier wins 9/10. With his skills DD could hold Bucky off for a while but when he starts landing blows DD is going to be seriously injured - if Bucky can grab DD for a crushing attack with the cyborg arm then it's over.

The only way I see DD surviving this fight is if it's in the dark, even then I don't see him having the strength to KO Bucky.

Even if they fight in complete darkness and Daredevil gets dozens of free hits in, I suspect he just doesn't hit hard enough.

MCU Winter Soldier has tanked hits from superhuman fighters with multi-tonne strength feats like Cap, Black Panther and Iron Man (and two of those were trying to kill him so they weren't pulling their punches).

Agree regarding comics. DD is way more formidable in the comics. TWS can't even stay up with him.

It'd be a totally different fight. Winter Soldier in the comics isn't superhuman, he's just a skilled fighter with a metal arm.

However, neither of them is particularly clever in combat, and Rocket is.

I think Rocket and Groot are so used to fighting together that there will be an inherent advantage in that. Rocket will be the better team tactician and Drax might run in headstrong, reckless and solo making him more vulnerable than he should be, while Mantis might be too hesitant.

Rocket and Groot Win

We know from the brief Drax vs Groot fight in GotG 1 that Groot is tough enough to shrug off being dive tackled and pummeled by Drax and Drax is strong enough to break out of Groot's vines. I'm not sure which of them would win a no holds barred fight but I'm fairly sure it would take a while.

Meanwhile, Rocket is a heavily armed expert marksman/tactician and Mantis can't use her powers without making physical contact and hasn't shown any other combat skills.

Chances are Rocket shoots Mantis before she can get close enough to do anything and then it's 2 against 1. Rocket's firepower should tip the balance.

Well, you did make a fight where both fighters have similar skills but only one has superhuman strength and durability. The outcome's kind of obvious.
