Wolverine does have an iconic costume. Fox producers and directs simply never let him use it.

Came close to using this one.
I did not say they used it. I said they came close to using it.Wrong. They came close to showing that in a scene that never made it into the film. They never actually used it.
You mean you think they shot the scene with no thought of ever putting it in the film? I find that difficult to believe. They didnt intend on using it. They made for an Easter egg cameo purpose.
They never intended on putting Jackman in that thing and really use it as a costume. It was in a suitcase for the scene at the end when Logan boarded the plane, but that was as far as it went. You mean you think they shot the scene with no thought of ever putting it in the film? I find that difficult to believe.
Personally, I wouldn't consider the 90s costumes the "classic" X-Men. If they were to do what they did for Spidey on X-Men, they'd base them on the late 60s-70s era Werner Roth/David Cockrum costumes. The Homecoming suit is heavily influenced by the Ditko/Romita art of the 60sI hope the Mcu X-Men costumes would have a fusion of the iconic 90s costumes (also seen in the 90s cartoons/90s capcom games) and the Utopia comics era. It would be like what theyve done with the costume of Spider-Man, classic meets mcu style.
Hard pass. There's better actors in that group and I'm not talking about the Oscar winning actress. If Nicholas Hoult is still circling superhero films and does not get the Batman role, would you want him in the MCU?
Why wouldn't a good director not want to showcase the female characters and give them the spotlight they deserve?
Hoult and co don't have to be in the X-Men franchise but they're all amazingly talented actors. If Marvel can scoop up Evans and Jordon from the Fox movies, they can do the same for Hoult, McAvoy and Fassbender. Just not in the X-Franchise

Because sexism in Hollywood is a very real issue. And people are trying to fix this exactly by putting more women behind the camera:
There are officially fewer Hollywood films with a female lead today than in 2002
Female characters get all the worst lines in films, study says
Female Representation In Movies Has Barely Changed In A Decade
Not sure I'm willing to buy into or believe all these so-called "facts."
Well, thankfully there are a lot of people who don't belittle real social issues and not only acknowledge them but are also willing to make a change. And Marvel has addressed that issue by publicly saying there are going to be more female representation in front and behind the camera.
But based on the links you posted, I guess Hollywood is not the liberal, woke and progressive place it fancies itself as and claims to be and most of it was nothing more than a facade.
No.If Nicholas Hoult is still circling superhero films and does not get the Batman role, would you want him in the MCU?
I will say Reed, but he may be too young.
Evans was iconic as Human Torch. Thats his most well known role before he got the role of Captain America. They only hire actors who played Johnny Storm.
Jokes aside, both Evans and Jordan weren't iconic in their FOX roles. So while I do see them hiring actors like Hoult, for instance, I don't see them hiring actors like Stewart, Jackman, McAvoy, etc...
But, who knows...
