otherwise "dap" or handshake/clasp is the way to go.

1. Clasp hands as if you are about to shake hands.
2. Maintain a 6-inch to one foot distance between the two of you and lean your chest forward.
3. Bump chests.
4. With your freehand simultaneously pat the other person on the back.
5. Release.

This whole manuever should take 1 or 2 seconds. Nothing should touch each other except your chest, arms and hands. If your genitals touch, you're gay, he's gay or your both gay. (No offense to gay men.)

I'm a physical kind of guy so I tend to hug girls and do the man-hug with guys. The only time a normal hug occurs is either when I haven't seen them in ages, or for comedic/dramatic effect.

I totally disagree. The reason I don't like hugging guys is the same reason I'm not gay, it's because men's bodies are repulsive. Even when I'm with a hot chick, I feel really fortunate, but I still kind of think she's pretty weird, that she's like, "into" me. The hair, the man-musk, the stubbly face...
I've even had chick friends who are straight as an arrow, but they agree that women's bodies are way more...agreeable than disgusting men's.

Actually, in my position as concierge/security, I have dealings with hobos every day and I can honestly say that some of my best friends are hobos.
