Men In Black: International

I like the first movie, but outside of that and the animated TV series, haven't cared for it at all.

I think the animated series was actually quite good and built a nice storyline for the time it was on. The show was on for four seasons and 53 episodes.

I liked the premise of the third film. It was a decent end to the trilogy.

I’ve only seen parts of the third one. Even Will looks like he’s tired to watch it.

He is struggling with his weight again. Did anyone notice how much weight he gain between Infinity Wars and Endgame

I guess somehow between Thanos' snap and Banners snap he found time to have that sandwich Rocket talked about.

He didn't look that much different in Endgame to IW. Besides, both were filmed ages ago he just got married last week and he looked better.

Between his genes and the genes of Arnold's daughter, their kids are gonna be like ubermensch.

If Pratt was struggling with his weight again, then he obviously got it under control because in his wedding pics with Katherine Schwarzenegger last week he doesn't look chubby at all.

They also kinda went with the obvious celebrities regarding the running gag of them being aliens in disguise.
Ariana Grande, Elon Musk and Donald Glover.

I thought that was one of the funniest bits.

even M said Glover made sense

lol miss I'm the same in everything

Gugu Mbatha Raw deserved such a career not her
Tessa is a better actress than Gugu and has better screen presence too.

I still don't see how Sony's taking most of the blame in your eyes. I could understand if the project was marred with problems ie script re-writes, director changes, extensive re-shoots like say the WB/Justice League fiasco.. but from what I can see the director & cast set out to make the exact film they intended to make, it just hasn't been well received at all by critics/fans of the franchise.

‘Men in Black: International’ Flops With $25M Opening As Sequelitis Prevails At Box Office – Deadline

We heard a lot of ugly noise late last week as to what went wrong with Men in Black: International from disagreements between Gray and the producers’ on the direction of the film, to continual re-writing of Matt Holloway and Art Marcum’s script throughout production, to oversee of the production going astray after Sony EVP of production David Beaubaire left the studio (the exec who originally was to ride herd on the film), to two bad cuts that never clicked in testing. Also, that there was never enough time in production to get this film right.

The very next line after the piece you've quoted:-
Some of those close to the film tell me this is all nasty trash talk, and that at the end of the day no one person is to blame for the fourthquel’s failure. Everyone involved is to blame. Also keep in mind, that just because there’s thunder on the set, doesn’t mean a film is destined to fail. Venom had a lot of reported on-set trouble, bad reviews, and Sony made that Marvel property shine to a global take of $855M (and the best opening in October to date stateside with $80.2M).

So what? That just proves that things weren't right. Of course "no one person" is to blame... They are all in Sony's boat together and the studio is the one calling the shots.

Arnold must have worked him out. Pratt is the kind of person that will put on fat by only looking at food. There is actually scientific proof this happen to some people who puts on weight easily.
But when Hemsworth looks at food he puts on muscle. There is no scientific proof this happens to anybody.

Does Chris Hemsworth even have a gratuitous shirtless scene in this film as that’s probably the only reason I will watch it.

They try to get one started but it gets shot down.

I always wonder how tough it must be for stars like Hemsworth to keep an optimistic attitude when the movie crashes and bombs like this? I know the salary makes it worth it, but still has to hurt the ego. And he's a had a few like these, and even said in an interview that he needs to pick better movies.

This is hardly the first bomb he's been in. He shouldn't take it personally.
