Not in Sabbath. DIO was good. "Holy Diver" and "Don't talk to Strangers" are two of my fave songs. I just dont like the Black Dio stuff. Its just not Sabbath. Kinda like to a lot of people. MetallicA died with Cliff. Once you replace someone so pivotal, its never quite the same.

 

eh, I always liked post-Ozzy Sabbath (thats not to say I liked it more, but I still liked it) the way I liked post D'ianno Maiden or post Halford Priest.

 

And I know a lot of people who like Post-Roth Halen [aka Van Hagar]. Not for me, but to each his own.

 

For all you hardcore enthusists. I'd like to know your opinion of Lamb Of God and Hatebreed. And an actuall OPINION! None of that "new age sucks" or crap like that. I want a "I dont like them because..." or "i like them because...". Thankz. Cheerio.

 

I hate Hagar

 

must....keep.....thread alive. To answer Shyairs post, those bands or their style of music really are not my cup of tea. I like classic, original heavy metal.

 

I love Hagar. And I loved it when he was in Van Halen too. I'm not saying anything bad about Diamond Dave, but I think that Van Halen was better with Sammy. They started having a more epic and deep kind of sound.

 

Hagar's alright but in noway shape or form is he, was he, or will he ever be better than DLR...

 

Certainly. They both have their place in the Van Halen legacy.
