That's what I always thought, just like Tiger Shark. Don't know why Rooker is trying to grow one since it will never get big enough or stick up like the comic version. He would've been better off just having something attached to his head.

If the pirate rumor is true than this is such awesome casting, just picturing a blue pirate Merle Dixon gets me excited.

No doubting that we'll get blue prosthetics, but for some reason I cant help thinking that they'll scale down the size of the fin. Just seems more practical [shoot-wise] to do so. There would of course then be the option to CG in a bigger fin if they felt that it absolutely had to be done, but I figure they might just weigh it all up and figure it's not worth the effort or money.

Will be really interesting to see how the make-up for this movie develops.

Oh, pleasantly surprised by the red carpet interview with Rooker, where they talk about his "interesting" weapon in the film. I didn't expect him to have his [BLACKOUT]bow and arrow[/BLACKOUT].

I wonder if it responds to his whistles.

Hey TeeKay, thanks for the apology. No hard feelings. I personally don't think you're full of ****, so when you post something I believe it is true.

I was just surprised when I read your comment because based on what I've seen in officially released clips/trailers, I thought Yondu was only going to be a glorified cameo at the start of the movie. I really don't want to know fates of characters, or how the film plays out chronologically.

I'll have to be more careful, too, but to be on the safe side: when in doubt, tag!

This version of Yondu isn't exactly like the character that I remember from the few old Guardians comics that I read way back when, but Rooker and Gunn definitely managed to turn him into the version of Yondu that I now prefer.

I really liked what they did with Yondu. I had no idea what they'd do with him since I know almost nothing about his comic version. I think he probably had the coolest individual weapon of any character, besides maybe Star-Lord. I'll be glad to see him if/when he shows up in GotG 2.

There's a part of me that smiles just at the thought of Michael Rooker having a place in the MCU.
