Microsoft E3 2009

The ZuneHD is not supposed to be the ZuneX (from what I understand), but the ZuneX specs do sound a little...too good to be true as someone else mentioned (other forums). Either way, it's all just a rumor. I guess we'll find out in less than 2 weeks.

I already have the PSP and the DSi. I can't deal with another handheld. :csad:

I already have no handhelds and don't care to get any.

Actually, I lied. I've been thinking of getting a DS so I can play Chrono Trigger again.

I bought a DSi to play GTA: Chinatown Wars. :o

Although I think it would be great if Microsoft had a handheld which contributed towards your achievements.

I was thinking that it suppose to be the ZuneHD as well when he first posted that list. Surely they won't be releasing two, especially since the original Zune hasn't done that well. Unless ZuneX is a codename, but there's really no reason at all to have a codename for an already named product

If Microsoft announces another Zune model I will laugh my ass off.

Why? Zunes are awesome. I like mine way more than my old iPod.

I like the interface better, the battery life is seems to last longer, and the device itself is a lot sturdier.

Hmm. Like, throw it against a wall and it'd be fine sturdy? 'Cause that'd be impressive. I've taken my iPod out of its case maybe twice since I got it because I'm always worried that I'll drop it and break it.

Well, I wouldn't want to throw it against it a wall... but I have dropped it on concrete pretty hard several times and save for a couple of blemishes here and there it's been fine. Didn't even stop playing. But I was the same with my Ipod. I felt like if I dropped it it would crack into a hundred pieces or something.

I have an iPod Touch, so I'm mostly afraid that I'll drop it on the screen and there'll be a big gash across it or something. That's why I got a case that protrudes a bit in front of the screen.

Because no one buys them and Microsoft just keeps trying and trying like Sisyphus. The Zune is a commercial failure and the sooner Microsoft realizes that, the better for Microsoft.

Back in 2008, Microsoft said it would only release Zune globally once it was fully convinced it had a first class line ready.
They said it would be in 2009.

Well, if that´s the case, expect this "ZuneHD" or "ZuneX" or whatever to be true.

Some people like Pepsi over Coke.

Some people like Wendy's over McDonald's

Some people like Playstation 3 over Xbox 360.

Not everyone likes the popular choice. I see nothing wrong with Microsoft trying to offer an alternative to the iPod.

I´m sorry, but you are wrong in that.
Zune is only sold in the US and recently in Canada, so, it can´t be seen as a failure....so far.
Then again, i live in Europe, so, the Zune is a mystery to me.

You can call it a failure in those places, though. I don't really know if failure is the right word or not, but I know it's not done that well in the US. Not sure on Canada, though. Nothing wrong with the Zune (I don't have either myself, but I actually would get a Zune over an IPod because you can customize the back, it's costs too damn much to do so, but you can and it's cool), but I'm pretty sure it has been a disappointment on MS's part over here

I just don't care for handheld systems, at all. This is my opinion, and i KNOW I'm about to offend someone, but i think if you are out of middle school, there is no reason for a handheld...

Flame on!

I think they are fine for travel, Plane, train, etc.. But yes, I think sitting in a restaurant with a DS is something that should stop when you're done middle school.

Yea thats not a bad point.

IMO, they dont offer me anything that id want, that my phone cant do, which is why i feel i dont need one anymore. The last handheld i had was the Gameboy Color.

Chinatown Wars is awesome.

Yea, im not taking away some of the quality of these titles, i just feel that 'gaming on the go' isnt needed. I spend too much time gaming 'not on the go' as it is, haha.

What about people who do the reverse? Who only play games on the go and not much when at home?
