Hell yes! That's some high praise from David Ehrlich.

Wow, I'm especially surprised by Ehrlich. That dude almost never gets that enthusiastic about blockbusters.

That's gonna bring some nerd rage, that Fury Road comparison. But a lot of the stuff in this movie is apparently real and not CG so yeah.

That's the 2nd tweet I've seen saying it's the best since Fury Road, and I've only read like 10 tweets. Might be something we hear a lot in the coming weeks, so nerds better prep themselves.

Fury Road's not untouchable. Great tho it is.

So ****ing frustrated. My local theater chose to close their BigD auditorium for the entire ****ing summer so they can install a Dolby laser projector and a Dolby Atmos sound system. Why the **** they didnt do that during the damn Autumn is anyone guess. Instead they close their biggest and best auditorium during Blockbuster season. ****ing dumbasses. So now I have to watch MI Fallout on a screen that's old and small. :cmad:

Well, silver linings: Dolby >>> BigD. You'll be grateful they did it in the long run!

But yeah, sucks you can't see this on a quality screen. :csad:

Yeah I'm really excited to watch a film in a theater equipped with dolby vision and atmos. Avengers 4 and Star Wars Episode 9 are gonna look and sound phenomenal.

What's the Radiohead comment about, are they doing a theme for it or something? Could just be a throwaway comment/reference in-movie too I guess.

He said the movie made him late for Radiohead, maybe they were playing a concert he was going to but got delayed due to the film.

*Smacks self in head* Obviously. Haha, totally misread that as more the movie turned him onto discovering Radiohead 20 years too late.

Thanks for the sanity.

Theory Time.
I don't have any evidence to back this up right now.
But I believe Tom Cruise wants to close out the franchise with a trilogy.
Fallout is Part 1.
So when this film is over, we are going to discover that the Syndicate is a greater threat than we originally thought or someone even deadlier is bankrolling them.

Fortunately, I have never seen Fury Road.
So, I wont be compelled to make comparisons
There is nothing "Fortunate" about that, my friend. You are missing out! And comparisons to it are intended as the highest compliments.

Exactly. It's a sci-fi/action classic. And I know Mel Gibson fans will give me crap for saying this but... it's the best Mad Max movie. Easily.
