It seems like amazon has shipped this early? Mine shipped on Saturday.

Glitch? I will take it. :oldrazz:

Schedule to do so tomorrow.
Well then, that's right on time. In my experience Amazon has always shipped pre-orders so that they arrive on the day of release. I'm just gonna bounce on over to Target tomorrow for those 50 minutes of extra features, lol.

Well, I didn't pay for one day or two day shipping. You should have seen my face. Lawd.

Always a nice surprise to get something sooner than expected. Especially the best spy movie of the year. :D

I can't stop watching the car/motorcyle chase. Between this and the Chevelle chase in Jack Reacher, McQuarrie makes some of the most immersive and tactile chases I've seen in recent memory.

Watched GP last night so nearly done with my MI marathon. I didn't think any movie could beat GP but RN could be it, loved my 2nd viewing to see how my 3rd goes tonight.

I think read somewhere that the bike chase was modeled with the people that did Matrix Reloaded. You can sense that, specially when the camera goes into some impossible places and you can tell some of the cars are CGI. But I agree, it's amazing. They're going faaasssst.

On my 3rd viewing. My favorite MI movie so far.

The director's commentary along side with Cruise is totally worth a listen.

Just watched this again on Blu-ray. Easily the best in the series for me, so slick, so effortlessly entertaining. Cant wait for the "sequel" to it with the same crew. Rebecca Ferguson would have easily walked off with heroine of the year if it wasnt for Daisy Ridley this weekend.

Cruise is so involved in almost every part of the production. The making of featurettes give you an incredible perspective on everything he does on top of star.

First time I was bummed to learn how the stunts in that amazing sequence and the car chase were performed

:(

1.There weren't that many cars on the morocco highway

2.They put "humps/speed bumps" on the stairs to protect the BMW

3. The Torus sequence was basically just one underwater panel. 90% was CGI

I did like the "Cruising Altitude" feature with the A400.

The best CG is the CG you don't notice. They did their job well.

I could nitpick that Ferguson should not have used those kind of panties with that dress. They would have revealed the lines though her dress. Lawd.

You always know the battles to fight. It is why you are our hero.

They make sense for her fight scenes and the director not wanting to be a perv and all that jazz, but the devil's wear Prada in me is going ''Gurl, you know that was not a good choice.''

Exactly. Just watch the later David Fincher films. You'll be amazed HOW MUCH CGI he uses, yet you barely notice it.

No kidding. Look at "Gone Girl"

Would have made George Lucas proud. Even the darn trees.

"They don't look full enough"

"CGI them to be more fall looking"

Um no. They are too subtle and invisible to move George. We are talking about the same dude that shoved a dinosaur's ass on the foreground of a shot in A New Hope.

You are not joking, but he is there all the way. He makes tone changes and even tells the other actors what to do.

Did you get the box set or just MI:RN blu?

Just a blu.

i still have to watch most of them again to cement my rankings, but it's looking like M:I-1, M:I-5, M:I-4, M:I-3, then way way off in the distance, M:I-2.
