not a hoax, or imaginary tale from an alternate earth. This time Marvel Legends does return at SDCC 2011. ActionFigureInsider.com is posting the first wave with Build-a-figure Terrax is:
Klaw (classic look),

Steve Rogers as the Super Soldier,
Iron Man (one of his classic armors),
what looks to be the new movie version of Ghost Rider,
the Comic Con Thor

Once again our man SDComics is the man on the inside at Comic Con 2011 as the con is being set up.
He called us tonight with a little bit of Marvel Legends news that he got from the Hasbro team.

They will be showing Marvel Legends wave 1 & 2 of the relaunch at the show. Wave 1 will be in the case the whole show. Wave 2 will debut at Hasbro’s Marvel panel and then be in the case after that.

not sure if I buy it.. maybe they're all getting figures, but I don't see how they can be all of WAVE 1 when we know we're getting a 8 figure wave, and he doesn't mention Bucky Cap or Ultimate Hawkeye... but this could indeed mean we are still getting these figures..

I was more than excited to hear and see the Commander Steve Rogers Marvel Legend. I had a gut feeling they were going to do him, especially after he was going to receive the Universe treatment.

I'm just a little annoyed the the "energy shield" is going to a variant. I think that the real shield should be the variant considering that when the character does use the shield (occasionally) it's the energy one. Hopefully they do what they originally said and make the shield see through w/the barely visible color like on the vision MU figure. I have faith in Hasbro when it comes to making that look cool.

1) the mini baf's don't take up the entire wave. Hit monkey only takes 3 figs to build

I'd love to get a mini baf of Artie Maddicks or Leech. Not least 'cos I couldn't care less about Rocket Raccoon...

Slim to zero chance of ever getting either of the above lil' muties though. Original X-Factor line-up has had hardly any love in 6 inch scale (though they've done ok in other lines) so I don't see Hasbro rushing to make their sidekicks.
