Revenge of the Fallen Moments in the movie that made you go "WTF?!?"

I have a feeling that the Constructicon clone error was caused during editing. The scene with them searching for Sam and Mikeala probably wasn't originally suppose to be happening at the same time as when Devastator was merged, but for whatever reason they made last minute changes in the way things played out on screen and just decided to say **** it.

5. Bumblebees voice got damaged again in the prequel comics Alliance in a battle with Wreckage. Yea they really should have mentioned it in the movie.

How convenient

There's so much background info that would have made for much better movie material, but they stuck it in the comics apparently. I'd have much rather Leo, the Twins, and Torturro kept in the comics while Arcee, Sideswipe, Jolt get more screen time.

1) So he couldnt go back to earth because he was scared of Prime. Who came to earth thousands of years after he did....

2) How is Prime a prime? I mean, the original ones died. Is he a descendant? How so? He looks nothing like them and has none of their powers.

3) Arent the primes like... the first TF? So how come they have descendants when they died? Wouldnt they have some of their "sons" with them when they were harvesting suns?

4) Why is it that only a prime can kill him? Prime did nothing special. He just beat his ass. I would assume that Megatron with some help could kill him just as easily.

5) How did the autobots and the decepticons survive so long without energon? They havent harvested a sun since the Fallen arrived on earth which is thousands of years ago.

I am thinking too much into it, arent i?

All valid points I think. The movieverse detailing is lacking quite heavily thanks to the almost zero approach towards character/plot/narrative development when it comes to moving the story along so it doesn't feel repetitive and redundant as ROTF felt throughout various parts of its 2 hour plus running time.

Maybe its better that Orci/Kurtzman leave the "Transformers" movie franchise for a second because Bay can make a film with coherency and reason as was portrayed to a certain extent in the first film. ROTF just has sloppy writing tagged all over. Either they write a better story next time or Paramount needs to get smart and hire new writers if they actually want to end a possible trilogy with a satisfactory ending for the sake of attracting people for a third viewing.

There is so much room for a capable writer to come in and write a better story with better dialogue for the characters and add a quality of detail to the plot. It would make for a pretty good movie even if Michael Bay is at the helm.

Ah yes... most of the movie's plot is in prequel comic books. Couldnt they have limited the sex jokes and used the time for something like this?

Also, i think that the plot would have worked better if Prime was one of the primes because the Matrix was passed down to him. It could be both the combined wisedom of the TF and a key and it would be the primes' heritage. So he could be the holder of their heritage and thus one of them.

But the movie chose to inexplicably make him one of the originals or their descendant in a very weird way. He is supposed to be feared by the Fallen and yet he is equal to Megatron (in the general franchise, because in ROTF he was the equal of Unicron). Ah Michael Bay.... you will never learn...

Just like in TF2007, where Barricade chases Sam in mid day but in the next shot its night, Sam's parents see the Decept land in mid day, but they are kidnapped at night.
Bee picks up Sam from the party at night, but when they arrive at the graveyard its day.

And of course, the decepticons land in the ocean, N.Y and Paris at the same time and look at that, its daytime at all these places! Bay is awesome like that!

Btw, wasnt like a fleet guarding Megatron? Why was it just a submarine guarding him now? Not only that, but it had the most incompetent crew. Yeah some bad guys are approaching megatron. Dont just stand there, torpedo the **** out of them!

You explained those holes pretty nicely.
I think that Blackout landed when the sun was going down. But when he transformed it was pitch black, so yeah, it would be a few hours later in real time.

Oh and about that, Bay wanted the base to be destroyed at night because it would look scary (and it was awesome indeed) but he also wanted the chopper to fly in the sunset. I think i saw a youtube video once that showed all the bay cliches. One of them was chopper(s) flying in the sunset. In every one of his movies. Hahahahaha, its fantastic! The man probably thinks its so artistic and he does it again and again!

this could be fiexed. Blackout could land with the sunset and then transform 30 minutes later at night. the problem was that when Lennox is talking to hes wife you can see the sun lighting.

I still can't believe people were sooo disappointed with the fight between Prime and Megatron in TRANSFORMERS. No, you couldn't see everything, but the stuff you could see was fantastic and very dynamic and realistic looking for the most part.

But still, the idea that the battle was covered up is so ridiculous that it completely removed me from the movie. And made it even funnier whenever the 'consipiracy' characters were expounding in the movie about how awesome they were for finding the 'truth'... Oh yeah, you guys are geniuses you've uncovered the BIGGEST secret in the history of time... makes the whole evolution/creation argument look really small, lol!

That's kind of the point. They were playing with the idea that giant robots hiding as vehicles and the government even trying to cover it up is absurd.

I thought Skorponok's return was great.

Another WTF moment i remembered. Why the hell are cops in Egypt looking for Sam? He is supposed to be in America. Were they looking for him in Tibet too? And do they have face scanning equipment in every checkpoint? I dont think Switzerland has this, but Egypt does? In the middle of the desert? Yeah...

And what was the point of showing the face scanner? They really went nowhere with the plot, the Fallen wants Sam delivered to him but you never see anyone going after him. Except for the Cops who quickly put their jackets on after they recognize him and are never seen again.

I hate this movie (its a good movie but i hate some things) because we never see a scene including all autobots being together

In hangar we dont see Jolt
Once in forest no Jolt again
No Ratchet during road scene
No twins during Optimus's reborn, whereas it would be awesome to see all of them! Jetfire is present, Ironhide Ratchet Jolt Sideswy Bumblebee too but the twins ??
