More plot details?

BTW, I´m pretty happy to be getting closer to see this movie knowing very little about the story, other than what we seen on trailers.

Say that after the big push begins in late March, with the novel and other stuff being released.

Yeah, and one of the sources is your's truly. Trust me, everything that said Campbell is Beck after the version Q&A that I sent to AICN is a fraud.
Well, I guess I've been passing around crap. :whatever:

No way, they are going to release the Novelization of the Film before the film even comes out!? That is amazing. A question for all of you; would you read the novel before the film came out? IMO if I did that it would just totally ruin the film. I'm not just going to the film for the effects. The Story is just as important and I wouldn't take one without the other.

Of course there going to release the novolation first, its been that way with a lot of movies. Spider-Man 1 and 2 were no different.

Well, with Spidey 2 I said, no way was I going to read the novel before hand. So naturally I snatched it up the first day of its release. And I'll certainly read it for Spidey 3. But then, knowing the story details going in doesn't ruin a film for me. It's still about the experience of seeing the actors' performances and how the scenes are executed.

Actually, the more I know, the more excited I get about a movie. It's why I lap up all the spoilers I can get.

You are the first person I heard say that. I'm the same way. It wouldn't ruin nothing for me. I'll still be just as pumped.

Damn, I am going to make sure I stay away from these forums from March to May if that is the case:oldrazz: ! Maybe it's just me but I'd hate to be able to anticipate, no wait that's the wrong word, I'd hate to know exactly what was going to happen next. A trip to the Cinema costs in total about 20 Euro over here in Ireland so I want to be truely entertained and blown away!:yay:

And moreover- it isn't as though these movies are tough to figure out anyway. It's not like there's some great mystery to these films. You basically know going in what's going to happen. You know there's going to be an origin scene for the new villain(s). You know the hero is going to have approximately 3 fights with the villain. It's very likely that the love interest will be a hostage. So what's the big secret?

Damn, The Future!! 20 euros to go to the theater?!
In Brasil I pay 12 reais in a hell of a theater and tought I was being rob!
I feel sorry for you.

Well here's some of the things the "fan-made" script summary nailed as early as February, before we saw any pictures or set reports:

1. The fight with Harry, including how the fight ends.
2. Spider-Man Day.
3. Sandman is Ben's killer.
4. How the symbiote attaches to Peter.
5. Where and when the final battle takes place.
6. Peter proposing to MJ
7. Sandman's sick daughter.
8. Peter hitting MJ.

You sure that's the work of a fan?

Dragon nails it here.

If we did not have that script summary, and someone rumored the things listed above, no one would believe a word of it. It appears to proven itself, at least to a high degree, that the person who wrote the summary was on the inside somewhere, so I would hardly call it the work of a fan.

They've always released the novelization before they came out. I wouldn't read the novel at all, but sometimes the novel can differ from the movie.

ehh, if you enjoy it, it's not work.

it's work, and about 80% of about it is fun. The best kind of work is something you enjoy.

And what's this about JJJ not knowing about Pete and MJ? Of course he will. Pete and MJ aren't going to keep their love a secret, that would be ludacris. And I am quite sure Peter will feel some kind of reprocussion from that in '3'.

I feel the same. reading the novelization befor the movie comes out will just get me even more excited to see thia film.

I'm sure I will read the Spidey 3 novelization myself. I did with '2' so I'm sure I will do the same here.

As Ock said earlier, to me every piece of news makes me more excited, so far I have not seen one thing that I wanted to whine about. With most fans the more they see the more the complain, I'm in the boat with the more I see the more I want to see the final cut.

Well, you know what it's like. It is fun. But it's definitely work. Right now I'm trying to get a characters jaw to move properly so that he can speak. Spending an hour on such a thing is tedious- but seeing the result is rewarding.

Agreed. JJJ would probably fire Peter but for his being able to score exclusive shots of Spidey. I'm sure he's irked over MJ walking out on John- but he loves money too much.

Unfortunately my friend when you add up the whole thing that is what it comes to. What can I say? I live in an inflation driven country.

It sucks! To just go to a theater here in my city, without buying popcorn and all that crap, I only spend 6 reais. And its Cinemark.

The Ticket alone costs about 8.50 euro. Then for Popcorn and a drink it's about 6.30 euro. And then, if you really want to be comfortable, you have to give an extra 4 euro for a centre aisle seat. The other seats are on the sides and old and everybody's on top of one another!:o

You have to pay extra money to get center seats?! That's stupid! I can pay 7$ (US) to see a movie, and pick any seat I like! (I actually prefer side seats though, as they are nothing like the ones you described)
