Which just proves how foolish to believe in that fan-made script summary, filmick blog, or any other so-called scoop that says Venom kidnaps Gwen at the end of the movie, with MJ, at the battle royale. It simply just don't make sense.
Considering that the 'fan-made script summary' has been accurate in almost every facet, that the question and answer form with the supposed informant ended up being correct to the dot and that the script may have been revised (with extra consideration on how the script to the original Spider-Man evolved from the initial screenplay) I'd say it makes perfect sense. If the end has conflicting info it could just as easily be the aforementioned- need I remind that in 'The Amazing Spider-Man' there was originally the Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus in the same film? Obviously Octavius didn't make the cut in the original film. We had to wait until SM2 to see him, and even then he was drastically altered. The conflicting information may just be attributed to people getting their hands on two different scripts. The old script seemed to just have Gwen present. The SDCC stills revealed she was replaced by Mary Jane. Now the script reveal puts her in the same moment as a seperate damsel in distress. The original informant wasn't wrong, just off due to the fact that it was still a WIP.
And as for the blatantly false info? There's no way anyone in their right mind can think that Raimi would do things such as have Peter kill Harry or Mary Jane get killed by Venom for no apparent reason. Cutting through the lies is not that hard.
