More plot details?

lol... yes, a well respected, notable paper will throw everything it's worked for down the drain for celebrity gossip....
Respected my ass, "Food Poisoning Grips City".The guy makes up any story he wants and prints it right there on the spot. Robbie defends Spidey and he finds a way to twist it around and tells them to print it, give me a break. Somebody is buying all those lies.:whatever:

:venom: Sorry to be the one to inform you of the error in the author’s logic, but to put it politely, this is BS. The events does not remotely take place to anything similar to what that article is saying.

**Spoiler Warning **
.

I’m not going to get into the remaining details of the final battle or surprising cliffhangers at the end. Take it for what it’s worth.

That is a very interesting theory and is very plausible. It certainly explains alot. Where did you get it and how did you get it?

I have to say, I'm amazed if that is true.

sctreched truths... get it right:woot:

all of you who say sandman's daughter's death sounds like utter nonsense or is ridiculous. you're all the very same people who dismissed "spider-man day" when rumors first surfaced.

I only dismiss that you were a member here back in 2001.....:whatever:

I do like the idea of Venom living, although a villain has to meet his maker in the film...Green Goblin died, Doc Ock died (people say that's not the truth, but he had to die...no one can live after downing himself into that deep level of water)...seeing how Sandman is a "softy" villain in the movie, and if the doesn't die, unless he does like those "tiny" rumors have said, then Venom, or Eddie Brock hits the hay...but I am glad that the symbiote dies...but I see no reason for the symbiote to live on...if no Carnage, and they better not have Mac Gargan turn into Venom the Second...

Ummm Ock was not down with the Titanic, he was in the New York bay, I don't think there is enough pressure especially since he was not 50000 feet at the bottom.

Second Sam and Alfred said Ock is still alive. And Alfred actually is signed to do Spidey 3 if need be, which who knows if he will or not.

But Ock is not dead.

I seriously- SERIOUSLY doubt Sony will release Spider-Man 3 and have a child killed.

Does anyone remember the aftermath of the batman returns fiasco?

I can see it now, Soccer mothers unite and before you know it, shumacker's being called in for sm4.:wow:

' . . . Julia Roberts in a thong . . . ' The Bugal is not exactly a sophisticated paper if this is the kind of stuff they show -- it is more the kinda paper i would buy! :D

if they can kill Bambi's mom...... they can kill anything

but who are we kidding, this guy just wrote that summary from what he wants to see.... it ain't going to happen.... I think that if Sandman's duaghter was killed in the way it was described, it would make people either laugh at the pure suprise of it, or they would be shocked.... what would be the overall purpose of killing his duaghter in the last 15 minutes..... makes no sense really.... no one has any idea what is going to happen, if they did, and it was posted on some big website, sony would have it removed....
Why in the h.ell would that be funny? WTF are you talking about? I'm not saying I believe that Sandman daughter dies, but it is plausible. But to say it would be funny. LOL, I can't see in the mist of a serious battle, the audience is laughing at his daughter being accidently blown to smitherine. You don't make sense.

um, your kidding right? aren't you contradicting yourself because you just said if they can kill bambi's mom, they can kill anything? why would anyone laugh? it's not a freakin comedy. who laughed when ock's wife died? and why is killing off someone's daughter in the last 15 min senseless?
Exactly, I'm at a loss why someone would have the balls to even say that.
I'm not sure his daughter will die though, but it's strange how we don't hear anything about his wife and child.
Kirsten said there were alot of twists & turns in this movie. That would definitely qualify as a major twist.

Unfortunately, when you're trying to sell Happy Meals and plush toys, I pretty much doubt they'll allow it. Thus, is why I think most, if not all, comic book movies should be R-rated. As it stands now, they're all stuck in this in PG-13 rut, and they all suffer from any really brutal and intense scenes, damn Soccer Moms.
Well they did say this movie would be darker and touch on taboo issues that we wouldn't associate it being in a Spiderman movie.

But Ock is not dead.

1.) Doc Ock wasn't shown that he was moving at ALL in the final battle scene, thus meaning, the water was TOO MUCH for him.

2.) If Dok Ock lived on, they should have showed a hint of him moving when he was going down, or they should have showed a tentacle or his hand move up from the water and reach land or something.

3.) A lot of other people believe he died, so if he shows up in Spider-Man 4, then that means Raimi isn't thinking about other great villains to show before a revival from an old foe.

Who said this, who are they?

I mean, we all know that there will be darker elements because of the symbiote, but who mentioned TABOO ISSUES, that we wouldn't associate with being in a Spidey flick?

Well I believe as well as many others that Ock is still easy to bring back, and it's not a stretch that he did not die.

Second, there is not many other villians that would be good in a movie sadly enough. The Lizard would work, but other then that, they are too cheezy.

Electro?-nah.....Shocker....?nah.... Too many of the other villians always were second class villians and never had a lot of depth, they would be good side villians but nothing like Ock, the Goblin, or Venom.

Carnage would be nothing more then a killing machine.

I'm not saying I don't want new villians in the movies, but there is just not many that would be good to see on the big screen.

Sony's bank account from the profits would beg to differ. No matter how "cheesy" they may sound they will use them all how they see fit.

Though unlike many other producers, I believe the people involved with Spidey do care about quality. Same with the people behind Batman Begins. I think with some companies and some projects quality is first. Quality does bring in the money. Batman Begins, Spidey, Casino Royale perfect examples of big names done right with care.

If they just don't care and Spidey 4 sucks, it is more likley that the sequels after will not be as big.

Visionary, I remember Topher saying something about it and I think maybe James too, during the time after the Comic-Con. I can't remember what site or magazine. He was talking about how they sorta touch on issue of drug use, sexuality, alcohol, and brutality or something. I'm paraphrasing......

I cant imagine if 3 and a possible 4 exceed well past expectations they would just say "you know lets stop right here and end it". Granted much of the cast the director and people involved with these current projects may not be on board any more , but with the successes of this francise they will find a way to continue or start over. Im sure eventually the hype will die down because as with many francises the budget will go down for the sake of seeing a higher profit and different people will be in charge. As for an immediate end, I dont see it.

If any of these are dealt with, I bet drug use is a metaphor for Peter's interaction with the symbiote ; "Feels good . . . you could lose yourself to it . . .". We have seen Harry boozing it up in the last film quite frequently, and the brutality of Venom or how symbiote Spider-man may cross the line in using force I could see too. I'd like to see the source on this "darker stuff" also though.

yeah, that what they must have meant because harry has been hallucinating, he has been drinking, and all that stuff. It preety much sounds like a metaphor for peters interaction with the symbiote. peter is addicted to the symbiote and when peter says, "you can lose yourself to it", It sounds like a very bad addiction. It really all makes sense.

No we're not. I knew the script summary was legit the first time I read it and said so.

When has anything remotely like a child being killed happened in a Spider-Man film?

When they said it would be darker they meant Peter's struggle with his dark side. And the Taboo thing was how they related Peter's connection to the symbiote to be like drug-addiction. That doesn't relate to killing of a child.
