i always thought the spider sense power was commonly known about in the mu

Oh, no-that's not the kind of thing you advertise. Some friends & adversaries have figured it out, but he learned early in his career how easily it can be exploited, so he keeps it under wraps.

Looking at this thread overall, Kal-El 8, many would argue that 1 & 3 tie in to 2.

but we can blame them all on the "creative" team at Marvel starting with Joe Quesada, Professional Spider-rapist...

Ew. That's some kind of crazy fetish he's got going on there. :p

For me its between unmasking and the stingers/altered powers.
Both are idiotic.

2nd place is Spidey becoming a ***** who cant take Cap in a street fight and instead prefares being Tony Stark's girlfriend.

and worse letting tony STEAL HIS WIFE

I truly have enjoyed all the recent changes to Spider-Man.

  • Costume: The new prototype costume Tony designed for Spidey may be one of the best alternative costumes Spidey has ever suited up in since he had the symbiote as a costume. A big negative about the costume would be that it seems to make Spidey way more powerful and unvulnerable from the design and additions Stark made.
  • Organic Webbing: I like this new feature a lot, though I thought the web-shooters were a classic trait for the character. The main reason I enjoy the Organic Webbing addition is because it was a recent step in the direction of Spider-Man being more of a spider.
  • Stingers & other new powers: Not my favorite change to Spidey, though it doesn't bother me Spidey has had this change.
  • Behavior: Peter taking orders from Iron Man may change depending on Civil War.
  • Living in Avengers Tower: Well, ever since Spidey joined The Avengers it does make since to be residing in the Avengers Tower.
  • Unmasking: I absolutely loved this. And I can't wait to see the idea's JMS has for Spidey as a result of Spidey announcing his identity.

:wow:

I like the unmasking... and the New Avengers/Avengers tower thing (both just something different.. and spidey for the first time is being recognized for who he is and being a hero)... and i understand for the most part why peter has been acting the way he has but everything else... hasn't made me to happy

He is NOT being recognized as a hero. He is turning on his friends & allies. He is STILL being villified in the press. Not one good thing has happened to him as a result of this foolish decision.

maybe not to his peers... but half the public has cheered for him

Marvel's selling crap in a bag next week to make up for the Civil War delays...I guess I can put you down for one of those, too? ;)

Yeah, somebody with a different opinion than the majority. How about that? :oldrazz:
It's not about that. You really irk me with remarks like that. I am, however, surprised that NONE of these things bother him.

Seconded. When NONE of the changes bother someone in the slightest, it's cery weird. Even my favorite books do thing s I don't like or agree with. Runaways killed off a major character recently, and I wasn't too thrilled about it. Still....one change I didn't like doesn't kill a good book.

Conversely, ten bad changes that I hate does make a book bad in my eyes...

There's more to it than even that; if EVERYTHING about a character is changed, from what he wears to where he lives to how he acts, & a fan has ZERO complaints, it leads one to wonder 1.) if he liked said character before the changes, & 2.) why?
See, I'm upset b/c they have essentially stripped away everything I have ever loved about Spider-Man & replaced it with new school nonsense. He's like a knock-off of himself now. The only reason I haven't dropped the books is because I still get entertainment out of the stories, even if they're going in a bad direction.
