Most UNDERrated actor in Hollywood

Thandie Newton provided the definition of overacting in Crash. Where might I see this "shining" of hers elsewhere ? If anything she's overrated. She's just an interesting looking chick who can hold her own in unmemorable roles or movies, some of the time, maybe.

And "so much better looking than Halle Berry" ? Wow, that's some pretty offensive taste. Halle Berry might be as annoying a person as they come, for various reasons (damn you Oprah) but she's near physical perfection (slightly longer legs would make her an even ten). Newton, well her face and body might charitabley be given eights, when she's not making one of the expressions on her face that make her look prematurely old.

Where's all this hatred coming from? Try watching Oprah Winfreys movie "Beloved". The movie is weird as hell but Newtons performance is stellar. Also check out "Jefferson in Paris"

Btw: I don't know what pics you've seen of her but Newton is everywhere as beautiful as Berry...

Newton is phenominal in Beloved, even though the film freaked me out slightly. She has a different beauty to Halle but a beauty nonetheless.

Ralph Fiennes, He deserves more attention.

What's funny is, I've never heard of anything he's been in except for Beverly Hills 90210.
So you've never heard of Batman Beyond or Spider-man?

Oh, yeah, those I've heard of course. They just slipped my mind for a minute. Still, only three notable pieces of work out of 36 acting jobs is kind of funny in a mean sort of way.

Pacino's one of the most highly respected actors ever.
Oh. Well, in that case, Robert Deniro and Marlon Brando.

Ron Pearlman. Fella never gets a role where he's not a villain or wearing ten pounds of prosthetic make up.

Alien Ressurection? He was a good guy, and he wasn't in a costume. Anyway, I agree with you, he's a pretty good actor.

Never saw that movie. That was the one Whedon wrote, right?

If you're going to go that route, atleast use Joe Pesci. Seeing as how he hasn't made a single film in ages (and no, I'm not counting 8 Heads in a Duffel Bag as an actual movie). :(

Yeah, Pesci's a tiny little pimp.

Viggo Mortenson. His performance as Aragorn in Lord Of The Rings was oscar good and yet he was snubbed. Not that he care i imagine but he was mot deservng of a best actor nomination at least.
