Let's hear about some movie characters that you think should get their own spinoff movies. It doesn't matter if they're from other media that you don't think would give them spinoffs (i.e. literary characters), or if there is at least talk about them already getting one, just whoever you'd like to see get their own film. If you want, you can give ideas on what the spinoff films could be about.
Here are mine, in no real order:
1. Deadpool, 'X- Men Origins: Wolverine' (A movie needs to be done to give him justice, less a spinoff than a character reboot).
2. Luna Lovegood, the 'Harry Potter' series (It could deal with some of her adventures after she graduates from Hogwarts).
3. Darth Maul, 'Star Wars Episode 1' (Basic backstory).
4. Ruffnut & Tuffnut, 'How to Train Your Dragon' (Maybe a little on why they're always at each other's throats, and a larger story about them somehow being separated from their village and being forced to reluctantly look after each other and work together to survive and get home).
5. The Minions, 'Despicable Me' (Backstory, how Gru created them, why they act the way they do, and how he came to trust them enough to entrust his operations to them).
6. Fenrir Greyback, also from the 'Harry Potter' series (Backstory, and possibly also whether or not he survived the Battle of Hogwarts in 'Deathly Hallows,' as the book didn't make that terribly clear; It just said he was 'Taken down,' not whether or not he was actually killed).
7. Nick Fury, the 'Iron Man' films (Backstory, and how he got the idea for the Avenger Initiative).

What are your ideas?

_ Frozone from The Incredibles, preferably set in the 70's and directed by Brad Bird.
_ Sif from Thor. Just because she's hot:woot:
_ Kilowog
_ The Siver Surfer in his own movie, done right.

Snape from Harry Potter. His backstory seems so complex and emotional it's insane.

Les Grossman - Tropic Thunder

Vic Vega/Mr. Blonde - Reservoir Dogs

Bullet Tooth Tony - Snatch

Dignam ( Mark Wahlberg) - The Departed

*Professor Henry Jones' early years from The Last Crusade
*Col. Kurtz's descent into madness pre-Apocalypse Now
*Angel Eyes. Lee Van Cleef was *always* cooler than Clint Eastwood.
*Aragorn. The Early Years.

_ Doc Manhattan, The Comedian or Rorschach.
_ Brian Douglas, the Batman wannabe in TDK who gets tortured by the Joker. In a prequel of course, depicting his obsession with Batman, his failed attempts at being a vigilante and his encounter with the Joker... Credits:cwink::woot:
_ Young Quint and the USS Indianapolis.
_ T-1000

wow...sorry I have to come in here and make this thread reasonably intelligent

-Les Grossman
-Sergio Roma (Diddy from 'Get Him to the Greek'
-Cody the Pyro Tech (Tropic Thunder)
-Felix Lieter (from the Casino Royale and QoS films)
-Proximo ( a prequel for the character who ran the games in Gladiator)

I think that two of those (Deadpool and Nick Fury) are in development.

hell yes the silver surfer.

if i had to pick one from harry potter i would pick mad eye, gleeson was great, would love to follow him around as an auror.

how about seeing where yoda learned to fight and who his teacher was, how he became a master.

deep space nine needed a movie, probably have it centered around the dominion war.

Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious from the Star Wars films, the best character in my opinion in the films. I'd like to see his roots, how he became what he is or at least see the origins of the Sith, preferably not written and directed by George Lucas.

I would love to see a Joker movie based off The Killing Joke...that would be amazing. But as Heath has passed on, that's either (a) not possible or (b) not possible for an extremely long time.
