Movies that made you Cry

In continuing with my list of films that have made me cry.

Powder
Braveheart
Philadelphia
Rocky
The Crow
Leaving Las Vegas
Blade II(The scene where Whistler is trying to revive Blade and says "You didn't give up on me. I'm not going to give up on you.")
Pans Labyrinth
Rescue Dawn
Iron Giant
The Fountain
American History X
Glory
Shawshank Redemption

But in order for a film to strike that emotional chord with me, it has to have every facet going for itself in order to create that emotion. I feel a lot of "emotional" films try to force you to cry instead of having that particular moment hit you.

Films like a Braveheart, Return of the King, Philadelphia, and etc are the type of films that showcase an event for what it is and allow the moment to have an impact.

Armageddon - At the end when he's saying goodbye to his daughter. Don't ask me why
but it gets me everytime.

Transformers (1986) - When OP dies. I was devastated when I was a kid.

The Crow - The ending is beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. Phenomenal.
"Buildings burn, people die, but real love lasts forever."

The Iron Giant

Terminator 2: Judgement Day

Armageddon

King Kong

And of course, Rudy.

Greatest underdog movie, ever.

I was gonna say Rudy. No real man wouldn't cry watching that movie.

The only one that ever had me flat out weeping was My Dog Skip. Granted, I had just had a major surgery the day I watched it. I was sick as hell from the anesthesia, so I think a lot of my tears were from throwing up so much. Still, the movie just gets to me.

There are plenty of others that get me teared up or emotional, but those two really do it for me.

Armageddon
Forrest Gump
The Shawshank Redemption

All of Uwe Bowell's movies, but it's more "why god?! Why has it come to this?!!!"

These movies, I didn't cry, just got lumps in my throat.

Passion of the Christ
Rudy
Armageddon
Happy Feet - that movie wasn't very happy at all, I wanted to cry when Mumble was in the zoo just staring down depressed

These two, I cried "What the F*** were they thinking" -

Fantastic Four - the way Doom was portrayed made me want to cry, comic's greatest villain reduced to a jealous pansy business man. I wake up in a cold sweat sometimes yelling "Marco Polo"!

FF2 Rise of the Silver Surfer - I too cried about Galacus becoming a large cloud.

There are many, but these are the ones I can remember right now:

-Iron Giant (when he sacrifices himself to save the world and says 'Superman.' :csad:

-Superman Returns (Superman sacrificing his life to save the world, during his speech to his son at the end).

-STM (Jor-El's farewell speech to baby Kal)

-E.T. (at the end)

-Pan's Labyrinth (the end)

-Ben-Hur (near the end)

-Under The same Moon (several times during the movie)

-I also always cry whenever I see a movie where Jesus is been humilliated and crucified.:csad:

Saving Private Ryan killed me in at the end

[last lines]
Old James Ryan: Tell me I have led a good life.
Ryan's Wife: What?
Old James Ryan: Tell me I'm a good man.
Ryan's Wife: You *are*.

Break out the hankie

The Matrix Revolutions

Does it count if I cried when the box office denied me a refund?

Serenity is the only film to make me cry ever

Serenity is the only film to make me cry ever
While I didn't cry, there are some good moments.

Shepard Book: You can't order me around, boy. I'm not part of your crew.
Mal: ...Yes you are.

The Stand
The Passion of the Christ
The Titanic (yawned:o)

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon...the death of Li Mu Bai STILL tugs on my heart strings. it was so wonderfully written and acted. everything from the dialogue to the delivery....it was tragically beautiful.

The Fox and the Hound (:csad:)
