When I went to see The Passion of the Christ with my then girlfriend. We both came out of the cinema with this numb feeling. It was so intense, we didn't cry but there certainly wasn't any fooling around that night.

Same with me. I came out of the theater and didn't say a word after the film.

I remember having trouble sleeping that night because of it. It's funny how people were munching on popcorn and slurping their sodas. But once the torture began, I heard no popcorn or sodas being used that's for sure.

No real date expierences, but the first time I watched Requiem for a Dream was pretty intense--by the end I was just numb all over and my eyes watered up all to hell. :|

Damn good movie.

I don't recall any date movies that made me or my date tear up. I can only relate to some home movie watching with the family and personal viewings.

1 My sister cried when Boramir died in Fellowship Of the Ring.
2 Call it really bad but i always get misty eyed when Charlotte dies in 1972 cartoon charlottes web classic. I know its lame but i always get misty eyed.
3 I kinda felt sorry for Magneto when Beast and Wolverine stuck him with the cure. Then him sitting alone in the park. I didn't really cry i felt sorry for him.
4 I kinda got a bit misty eyed when Kong died even though he was a cgi big gorilla.
5 I get misty eyed when Yoda dies every time though i've seen it sveral times.

Yoda & Charlotte got to me the first time. As for Magneto, I always felt bad for him. From a philosophical point of view he was right; it's just his approach that was wrong.

I felt sorry watching Magneto look like a grizzled parl bum at the chess table. Its almost like he was waiting for Xavier to come for thats all who i seen him play chess with. The part when he movied the chess piece really made me hope someone really good might Direct X-4 if there is one. maybe if the Director for Wolverine is good he'll do X-4.

Dude, I got choked up twice in Superman Returns:
1) When Lex punches him with the kryptonite, and the thugs beat the living hell outta Supes. That made me really sad.
2) When Supes talked to his son in his sleep. Great words, and just hit me big time.
