The Star Wars original trilogy is at the top of that list, easily.
Abrams Star Trek and Tron Legacy would have been nice to have seen on the big screen, just to name some newer movies.
I wish I could go back in time to the premieres of King Kong , Frankenstein , and Dracula. Also the original Star Wars trilogy.
I wish I could take modern movies(the good ones that is) with modern effects and styles back in time to see how people in the past would react to them. Now that would be fun to witness.
Original Star Wars trilogy
Jurassic Park
Batman
Batman Returns
Home Alone 1/2
Hook
Goldeneye
Batman Begins
Attack of the Clones (my mom swears up and down we saw it, but I don't remember it.)
Imagine showing a movie like Jurassic Park or The Matrix to people in the 1940s. That would make them go insane.
Well that's a bit further than I was thinking. Those people would probably hate those movies since their cultural content would be too far removed from what would be acceptable back then(you could barely say damn in a movie, for example). I was thinking more like taking a movie like Iron Man and releasing it in the early 1980's or releasing a film like Avatar in the 1970's.
2009 Star Trek, I'm so glad I saw that movie. I went to see it as a Sylar fan, my mom went with me because she's a Lost fan. Both of us left the movie loving it and went back the following weekend for a second showing. I personally think the first scene is one of the most emotional scenes I have seen in an action flick.
I see what you mean if lets say Transformers were released in the 80's it would've swept all kinds of academy awards for it's SFX achievements.Well that's a bit further than I was thinking.
