I've had a thought that X3's climax may lead up with Multiple Man leaving Magneto and the Brotherhood near the end..

What does the symbol mean exactly?

The Big circle represents the original, and the other Smaller circles that fan out from the bigger represents his clones.

Dark Beast I completely agree. Green and dark shirt, yellow EXACT symbol from an artist's rendering (although I remember the original when the dots were just kind of paralell and going down his whole body, and he had a head shroud).

Just another plus for Ratner As X-Men Faithfulist! I can wait to see what he does with Dark Phoenix' special effects, and how animate her flame raptor is going to be. Not to mention her eyes (heck if SINGER could add it in, what's RATNER going to do?).

It doesn't make sense anyway because Rogue detests Magneto, and the feeling's kind of mutual, as far as the realm of Xmen cinema is concerned, and Magneto would naturally be suspicious as to whether she may be a spy as well as her true motives.

And the motive is a little weaker still; she defects to them, so I hear, because of the love triangle situation...?

But there might be something more: I kind of really don't know what Rogue's arc, it needs more than just Iceman and Kitty.

Maybe ur right cause in the Audio Commentary of X2 DVD i think its the writers one they said there was ment to include in the attack on the mansion seen a cameo of Multiple Man and a girl that when a soilder grabed her she would shed her skin and escape. Maybe he is a MOLE.. who knows i cant wait for 26th May BRING IT ON

Possible. The two universes have definitely done a fair bit of giving and taking from each other a lot more than the movieverse and the 616 universe.

What the filmmakers planned really doesn't have any bearing until it actually comes into fruition onscreen. Afterall, Angel was meant to have Adamantium wings and Cyclops cell-mate. Beast was human in X2 (although how they'll handle this in X-men 3, we don't know yet).

I'm sure a few people here caught the Big in '05 on VH1. During Hulk Hogan's (he'll never be "Hollywood" Hogan to me) segment where he (and his family) presented Best Feud I think I spotted Eric Dane on the crowd flashed a number of times on the screen. Atleast it looked like him.

I think they're just ignoring it because I believe there was supposed to be a scene where Magneto and Xavier are driving to young Jean's house and the blue furry beast is driving. The general moviegoing public would not have caught that cameo in X2 at all so it was just kinda put there for the fans. MAybe if Singer were still involved he would have explained it, cause he was the one who set it up

That's what one of the writers said, that they were just going to ignore the cameo. And that scene you described likely isn't in the movie anymore.
