Multiplied: The Official Multiple Man/Eric Dane Thread

Does MM get tired of making dupes or can he create thousands? I am not too familiar with his character.

The most he's ever had at one time is 40, I think. After that, they just stopped appearing.

Nope, they were just bodies. MM could try to reabsorb them, but the shock to his system of absorbing something dead could probably kill him too.

I think in the comics, when mm re-absorbed injured versions of himself he shared the injury with them, but it was half as severe. So technically a copy could recover from a potentially fatal injury, but death. I don't think you can be literally half dead.

and those duplicates can create duplicates from the duplicates they were duplicted from :D hence the name multiple man

Keep in mind that his duplicates can also make duplicates themselves.

i wonder if copies of copies of multiple man are mildly ******ed like in multiplicity

Mildly ******ed they should be brain dead, so their only purpose in life is to get slaughtered by Wolverine! :xmen: ;)

Jamie retains everything his dupes learn when they absorb back into him. ;)

I think for the movie, the original Jamie might have some psionic control over the other ones..

so he's a good fighter then right?

in the comics, one dupe trained to be a gymnast, one went to russia, another became a monk, etc so he has all that knowledge. plus each dupe is one aspect of his personality, one is overly angry, one is optimistic, one is gay etc... its really cool

^So he can spread himself over the planet and live like that as long as he wants?

So he should be the smartest mutant if he can learn different things like that.

Funny, Multiple man was like number two on characters I never thought I'd see on screen (or atleast for a while) but wanted to.

the first being Chamber.

^I always wanted him too,and thought he would never show up either.

I guess people are gonna buy more than one of his figures so they can get that clone look for him.

wow so MM is kinda like a schizo then??? man, phoenix has a rival lol

Eric Dane is a very good casting choice as Multiple Man IMO

wow, think of all the woman in the world he can sleep with....at the same time.

Agreed. He can be a scary, intimidating actor depending on the role. Perfect casting.
