Give him the black/red S this time around. Change it uo a little
More than happier to have a leaner, more toned Superman, and a suit that fits that form. Cavill looked like an over stuffed sausage most of the time. No reason for an alien from another world who's powered by the sun to be that jacked.
And keep the suit classic this time. Red trunks back, bold bright S symbol.

I would very much like the suit to have been made by his mother again. I always loved that idea, and it would fit the hopefully more wholesome version of Superman we might get.
We don’t need any lame justifications for what the S stands for. It stands for bloody Superman… nothing else. The symbol should be entirely a thing created on earth, no attachment to Krypton. Let’s have a Clark who’s proud to be the character again… and the creator of his own look, with his mother’s help.
There’s nothing wrong with him deliberately crafting a bright, friendly super suit to help show that he’s there to help people. Same attitude as Peter Parker.
Batman could make him the Bat Super suit like Tony Stark made the Iron Spider suit.![]()
I actually kind of like that blocky S in the bottom right.Second suit (top right, Fleisher-inspired shield)

A couple redesigns I like.

I just realized we'll probably get a new shield design for the House of El.
