The Good -
Colours look fantastic, hopefully they pop as much on camera after all the filters & post-production stuff is done.
Good to see the return of the shield on the cape, again with excellent colours it looks great.
Same with the trunks, they have the potential to make or break a suit & for this suit, they work. They look a lot more All-Star Superman than say Birthright Superman size which is what I'd compare Reeve/Routh's to & that's a good thing IMO.
The Bad -
Still don't like the collar, although I will say it does look better from the side on shots.
The material used for the suit looks way too rubbery or leather like - particularly the torso, looks too much like some sort of motorcycle jacket that has been repurposed.
The boots look too bulky, this is more of a preference thing but I always like the 'boots' to look quite slender like Reeve/Cavill's suit(s) almost like the entire lower portion of the suit is one piece as opposed to having bulky looking boots which the likes of Cain/Routh/Hoechlin's suits all had.
Overall the set pictures have had a positive effective for myself & improved my initial opinion. Still not a fan of some of the design choices they've went with, but the whole ensemble together at least works even if I don't fully like it, will be interesting to see how it looks on camera as usually, set pictures make a suit look a hell of a lot worse than it really is & the final footage improves the look tenfold, but in this case the set pictures look good.
