Couple of comments:
1. were not rich, were wealthy, my dad works his ass off providing for his family, i got 2 sisters too.
1. What is rich? Pray do tell what makes someone rich? Also the fact that your dad works his ass of, has nothing to do with you, you can't use your dad's noble attributes as somekind of reflection of your dad, if anything it makes you more dispictable.
2. catholic school blows, and the whole religion too, im athiest. i don't belive in anything, i look at the science behind life. no im not scientoligist loon.
2. I can understand poor grammar on a message board. Often times I write as if I'm speaking. You comprehension is sorely lacking, this is a huge problem, you seem to have trouble reading and understanding long paragraphs. Since what exactly does your comment about catholic schools have to do with anything? The purpose of my referencing my high school was to illustrate how I went to school with a lot of kids that came from "wealthy" families. Also your disrespect toward athiests is appalling, it's not that they don't believe in anything, they don't believe in God. This is what leads many people on the religious side to seriously misunderstand athiests, as people without morals. A nililist is someone who doesn't believe in anything. Again this is what I mean by comprehension, you seem to have the vocabulary, but quite frankly no idea what any of it means or how to put it together.
3. yes my friends smoke and they have not as great of lives, but there very respectful people, who work hard, and go to school. and none of them are losers.
3. Again with the comprehension, this has nothing to do with my post, if anything it proves my point. My point simply was that there are always the potheads of the group, who absolutely do nothing but smoke pot, while others go on and make lives for themselves. It's as William K. Vanderbilt said, "Inherited wealth is as certain death to ambition as cocaine is to morality."
4. im still gonna smoke, but im not gonna give up things i love doing, alot of you only belive what you see in movies, ooh potheads and stoners are lazy people who mooch off of their family and friends, well let me tell you, i do not accept money from either. i give, i don't take.
4. Have you read anything I've said, it's obvious that I'm familiar with weed culture. Many of my friends did it in highschool and many of my friends now do it in college. Pot does have a negative effect on people, if they let it control their lives. You essentially do become a couch potato, who literally is inept at living.
5. i may get fat old and bald, but my views on life and my personality will be the same, im a nice kid, a respcetful kid, i help people, i help my friends, i help my friends parents. i spent 3 hours in the hot sun helping my friend rake leaves for his mom and dad, so he can go out for the day. it would have taken him all day if i hadn't of suggested id help him.
im the most generous 16 year old you'd ever know. how many people do you know who always put money in charity buckets, or give out their cloths and old toys to the homeless and less fortunate.
right now half my closet is empty cuz yesterday i went to the local church and dropped off some of my things.
i may be a pothead but im nothing like spicholli from fast times.
5. The real question is if you are indeed so nice why is it so hard for us to see it? Words are indeed a powerful thing, they allow us at indivuals to see into a man's soul, actions mean little, it is the motivation behind them that means everything. If a rich person gives millions for taxes, sure it's nice, however how nice is it when you find out, they did it to save a ton of money off taxes? And also something to ponder about, think about how it's quite a great deal easier for you to be charitable than someone else? Tell me are you a better person than say the single mother who struggles to raise a child on minimum wage simply because you gave more to charity?
"And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury, and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites. So He said, Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all; for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God,[a] but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had. (Luke 21:1-4)
I post this for two reasons, the first is so perhaps you can glean some insight from it and two hopefully to enlighten your ignorant mind about religion. People who believe in religion aren't stupid, however, I believe in Jesus Teachings because there illuminating in how to live one's life. I don't believe because he did some magic tricks.
So in conclusion, if one has to cite good deeds to prove he is a good person perhaps one should look inward to see if there's a problem with him/herself.
